Under rating threshold (show) This game has more depth and atmosphere than most games. Not easy, but all the more fun because of it. Very nice economics-themed game. 5/5.

Under rating threshold (show) make it easier to sell a ship, i got stuck right at the end with no money to buy opium or tea and only needed a few more cases of tea to win.

Under rating threshold (show) hard badge - you dont even need to try and win the game to achieve the hard badge goal. the thing you want to do is buy and sell as much as possible. Winning doesnt matter. you do need to get to the final year, but when i finished i shipped 2760 crates to Brit and 3240 sold to china and made almost 90mil in points while not meeting the last year demand. So the secret is not to try and win but just buy and sell as much as possible.

Under rating threshold (show) Regarding the score, I have found another aspect. When you let the British vessel wait for the tea, you may accumulate much more money. Additionally, Britain will ask for much less tea. However, that directly affects your score. When I sold 3540 crates tea and 3615 crates opium, I achieved 128 million points. When I sold 2250 crates tea and 3035 crates opium, I just achieved 68 million points. Maybe one can sell more opium, but I doubt that it compensates the 1290 crates of tea that one will not sell to Britain...

Under rating threshold (show) Fun for the first little bit, but then the market gets completely unbalanced. Balance out the rates between tea and opium instead a constant rise, and give the ability to order more as the game goes on, and it would be a pretty great game.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a really cool example of education in video games. It's a fun game, and it teaches you about England's nefarious involvement with addicting China to opium in order to finance its tea addiction.

Under rating threshold (show) TO get hard badge, you want to ship as much tea as possible. Thats where a huge chunk of your score comes from. Meeting deadlines early or slightly late (90+) means the next shipment will require more tea. This is good, you will make a huge amount of score for making it. BTW, I almost failed the last shipment with 10 tea lefts, I was broke from just selling at 80+ plus to meet the deadline. The price miraculously dropped to 14, bought 5, then quickly rose back to 80. I thought that the game just screwed me off. Just then, it dropped back to 14 and I managed to waste my last 130 money on a 5 tea pack LOL

Under rating threshold (show) So let me get this straight. I have to spend my money to go get opium, I have to risk my money, my ships, and my opium in sending it to other ports, then I have to use all that hard-earned money to buy tea and give it to England free of charge? Screw you, Great Britain. Pay me for my damn work.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm suprised: This game has a very original theme, and the gameplay is so solid aswell! And the sounds are just plain smooth! I'd give you a 4.5/5 If I could, but since I'm a harsh judge that's 4/5. Great work though!

Under rating threshold (show) I was just starting and not being able to buy more than 30 crates sucks... also, the market moves way faster here than IRL, not much time to do calculations except buy low/sell high...
