I suggest adding a wider selection of traps... perhaps a door that closes behind the hero se he has to go a different way back to the exit, or perhaps a type of lure/alarm that calls all monsters in the area to the hero if he steps on it. Just my 2 cents.

Being or have been a big fan of Dungeon Keeper I'd hope you intend on improving this game. Although it's off to a good start, right now it's just dull and a little to hard. I'd improve it and then maybe you'd have a hit. Right now though --- man it don't deserve much of a rating. 2/5 score from me and I think I'm being generous.
Still a great start if you intend on improving the game.

needs a way to skip dialogue before and after every hero comes here. And a way to upgrade the "pets" (or at least some others with better lvls on next page, same with traps too with, for example lvl2 automatically on the next page)

I like the game. But it needs a little more. 1.Can you make it so a player can press shift and place as many of one creature/trap as possible?(Possible moneywise.) 2.I think you could do a little more with the creatures and traps. 3. Possibly make it where you can see from the good guys eyes.

it reminds me dungeon keeper ^^ but needs a lot of improvement and it will become one of the best dungeon games on kongregate :)

I have really enjoyed playing this game. 4/5
I have to agree with the sentiment that there should be a way to level up your monsters. You can upgrade traps, but the monsters are always level 1. It gets pretty old having monsters that don't stand up to the heroes coming in... With a few tweaks, this game would easily be 5/5.

The game has potential but you definitely need to either let monsters gain exp. to level or allow for upgrade or purchasing higher levels or else it makes little sense to purchase them. Just save, bring in the hero and load if they break your traps and wash/rinse/repeat.

The monsters are almost worthless traps are the only thing that matters...also why must battles take 20 attacks when you know youv already lost

Gahahaha! I made my dungeon so complex that the level 1 Villager was able to walk right in and take the treasure! All of my critters were elsewhere, didn't even try to stop him! Game over for me!

this is a fun game but as there are other games like this it is unique in many ways but does need healing and could use some updates but i love how you control the game and that what you do impacts everything could use some more but good overall 5/5

Beasts should be healed after every round, or make traps limited. As it stands, beasts are nearly useless as the only advantage is baking up traps in case they fail.

fix the glichs. like when a hero kills a slime, game locks up, can't reuse some spaces for no reason, when i move a monster somtimes it wont let me set it down ever. fix these gliches and it will be a great game

it would be nice to place several treasures so that they will come back and with several treasures you can put a big treasure room with monsters and several traped treasures for the stupider adventures

@RESN - first, learn to take feedback...seriously. You may get the 'in depth genius' of your game but it seems most of the players are missing it. We get the big hero kills lots of monsters part, but try this - compare starting at say level 100+ the best possible lineup of monsters available versus a straight trap lineup and see which one results in anything close to a positive cash flow (and which one is more playable too!), which supports multiple runs without having to totally restock/rebuild, etc... and you'll get the feedback you're being given. I get the monster after a trap, but the truth is another trap behind that trap is more effective in the long run

Pro tip for people complaining about how weak monsters are: consider your placement. One hero against one monster will be a very one-sided battle indeed. Try to make situations where the hero will step on a trap and be surrounded by 3 monsters. As the hero triggers the trap, your monsters will also get a surprise hit in, then as the hero cuts down each monster one at a time, your other monsters keep hitting. Remember, you're an Overlord! use swarms of monsters! You hold no ties to pansy goody-goody single combat! (bonus points tip: monsters can't walk through traps. Use traps to keep your walking monsters in the right place for the ambush)

I really enjoy this game, and agree that it has serious potential with a bit of UI polish (graphics aside) such as cutting down a bit on (or at least adding variety to) dialogue. Putting a load button on the front page would be huge, as it would allow me to skip the opening each time i want to return to the game. Multi-placing creatures would be nice, but personally I would rather see a Details button added instead. A one-click selection instead of a two-click (one to select, one to skip details) would streamline monster placement enough to make up for no multi-placement, and a separate details button or hover-over would mean people could still see the details. I do agree that being able to speed up battles might be nice, but these are the bigger hiccups to me.

waaaaaay too slow. speed up the battles, and make the game more free flowing. possibly set up like a tower defense game. place monsters and treasure while raiders actively try to engage the dungeon.

At first I thought this would be a remake of Dungeon Defender. While Dungeon Defender certainly is a better game, this one has the potential to go very far. Make a sequel or a remake, and add more features. This is a new concept, one that I think could turn out great.
2.5/5 on execution
5/5 on concept

PROTIP: the more treasure you place the higher lvl the villager is!!! (Don't place all your gold when you just start or your gonna lose very quickly...)
