Strategy for people having trouble: While playing, I prioritize things like this: 1st: build up income as much as possible, especially gold. 2: draw lots of cards. Emptying your hand by playing as many resource-makers as possible and playing some of the cheap dudes (not actually summoning, just get them onto your "summoning bar". 3: keep building up your income. Once your gold income is over 10 (or more, if you have a lot of expensive dudes), wait until you've got a healthy buffer of gold already collected (200 or so) and then summon as many dudes as possible as quickly as possible. Then play more of your creature cards and summon them too, until you're broke again. Spend any damage dealing spells you've got to hinder your opponent's counter attack, then draw cards and repeat.

What the Hell? I summon two things, enemy summons nothing. Just as they reach the portal, they summon ten things in the space of four seconds, every time. Where the Hell are they getting the gold from?

'nother suggestion: hotkeys for summoning units, once you've already played them. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, build units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It would make summoning large numbers of dudes a lot easier instead of madly clicking.

Please, for (insert preferred religious figure here)'s sake, let us see what the card's symbols MEAN when we're building our decks! This might just be me but I don't see "creepy batman face" and think "this guy gives me more souls when it kills stuff." Maybe after 5 or 6 games, but not when I'm still learning. Adding card symbol info to deck building is just essential for us newbie gamers. If we have to figure out this kind of stuff on our own, we're not going to play for very long.

ok this game is pretty awesome except the computer opponent seems to have unlimited units and money and a limitless unit cap. and is apparently designed to freak out whenever you get a unit to their base and throw out an insane amount of units then once my guys die it sends out more guys... please patch

I was going to write a longer and more intelligent review, but kongregate doesn't like anything beyond two-sentence wankery and/or screaming, so here's the gist: Your art is ugly, your graphics boring, your concept a clumsy fusion of castle wars (which sucked) and every tug-of-war game ever (which are also usually dull), and your reputation a sham.

The thing I want most out of this game is to have the glitch fixed where I pay for a card draw and it comes up in my hand but all I can do is discard it, and it has no picture. because right now I sacrifice my peasants into 'parting gift' and let their own army kill them... but If I'm forced to discard my one coppy of parting gifts...

Wow, really sucks that I hit 'start new game' by mistake and it INSTANTLY overwrote my old game. Should be some kind of protection against this like AT LEAST requiring you to pick a deck first.

Nice game. My soldiers: "ahh great, hes summoned us again. " "does that mean we get to die horribly AGAIN just in the name of some stupid paladin?" "probably. Im gonna retire after this fight... The pay's good, but its not worth it for the amusment of some kid playing behind a computer screen."

Awesome game, but I have two requests: A pause button and hotkeys. Sometimes I can't give this game my full attention for 10 whole minutes, but there isn't a way to pause. And it gets annoying having to click 32472398 times in 5 different when I'm summoning a zillion troops.

50% of the time when draw a card, I can't see it. I have no idea what it is and my deck count has gone down. There is an empty spot with the delete card option. When I draw another card it goes on top of the invisible one.

no unit cards ready; lots of gold, wasted 250 on trying to get unit card but instead getting 5 crystal mines. I DON'T NEED ANY FREAKING CRYSTALS. otherwise a great game, 5/5

Best card game online I have ever played, and there have been a few. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this and loved the balance.
I only have one problem... No matter how much I "Belived in the Heart of the Cards" I still didn't win every game. :'(

Archers can fire from half a screen away, have super fast shot rate and a good dodge rate. I sent an army of 15 towards the enemy and he pulls out 4 archers and all my guys die before they get anywhere near the archers.

Very well made game, Ive played similar before although this ones got me hooked. Archers do seem a bit OP imho. Other then i think its fantastic. Would be cool to have a multiplayer version ie.
Each player creates a deck this deck is then saved and is available for other players to fight against. Kinda hard to explain but i mean something like Nerdooks - Monster Slayers :P
Anyway great game 5/5

Nice game. Would like to see some form of return after sending a unit to the enemies portal (I found myself getting legendary units to just have them kill a few weak units and do 3 damage to the enemies portal). A simple return to the unit list to be able to summon it again after reaching the enemy portal just as playing the card would or a return of some resources would be nice.

found a BUG(???):
if you dont take a full set of cards into battle, there's the possibility, that you draw "empty card" in your starting hand AND if you draw cards (for 50gold) you may get an "empty card", too...
either fix this, or at least make it so, that you have to take a full set with you
then its a 5/5

Wow, they summoned 3 archers with green hair (I don't know what they are called) and 3 regular archers, every time I summoned anything all it took was one shot from each of their bows to kill it.

tutorial glitched i summoned my guy, it disappeared then when i got back to the menu it came back up and i cant get it to go away :/

Sometimes when i click to draw a new card it consumes the gold but the card doesn't appear, it appears only the red x to discard it but there is no image nor info and I don't have the possibilty to play that card even without knowing what kind it is, only to discard it. I just have to click draw a new card over and over (losing gold) till one card appears (and in the same space where the "phantoms" ones are supposed to be). I love this kind of game, and I like how you combined a lot of elements in this one, thank you

So apparently if you edit your deck to have less than all the card slots filled, you can draw no card for 50gold in battles. Tip/Warning to all, there is not benefit of minimizing deck size to draw better cards. You just waste gold.

I think it would be more fun if I weren't clearly facing a cheating AI - I summon ten units, it summons ten units? Come on, now.
