Loading time took longer than expected on my chrome, but other than that the game design was stunning. For those who found difficulty on focusing, note that the mouse turns RED when you hover over an item/place that you can select.
It'd also be more efficient if we could also hold the left mouse key for auto-shooting for all our weapons. I also find it annoying when the zombies go beyond the bottom corners, since they're hiding behind the Inventory and option buttons.
Always keep an eye out for the Superstar/Ultrahipster/Picici zombies, esp. the first two mentioned as they can be a nuisance. A handy guide for the game can be found here:http://www.eioira.com/2015/07/zombo-buster-rising-walkthrough-guide.html
This game reminds me of DFO, with the combo build up and fighting animations it has though with simpler action buttons and skills. It's really well made.
Even the simple paint app supplies more and enough tools to create a better avatar then this game ... Also, easiest way to attain a high score is to simply spam different colours of any shape on the drawing board until you reach 100.
The only point of this game is to click a single potato and buy items (which all are pretty much free). Does this game serve a purpose? No. Is clicking the potato satisfying? Oddly, yes.
@kinne If you're using chrome, simply right click the tab and select Mute Tab. That should fix it. Friendly tip to start is insert 'look', since this game is heavily based on interactive (actions rather then replies).
The fact that Kongregate is a PG13 website (from the Conduct Guidelines), and you decided to call this a "Kids" game, I don't think this puzzle will be drawing much attention at all.
You know the creativity of the game is uninspiring if the dev didn't even both trying to come up with a creative name for the game. That much I could tell for this game.
I'm not sure why you find it necessary to overcomplicate the simple game. Instead of a simple 'click and drop' the puzzle into place, you went as far as to enforce the players to hold the piece, drag it across the game and (quickly) double click to drop the piece. It's nothing but redundant and tedious.
Half of the images are pretty hilarious, and I like how the pieces were arranged at the side, instead of being scattered across the board. The puzzle was fairly easy though because of the BG being the completed copy of the puzzle. After a quick search, I'm surprised that this is a Chinese film (though the audio should have given that away).
Thank god there was a mute button. The game itself seems fairly bland, and can easily be replaced by the other dozens of sliding puzzle games that are already existent on Kong.
For starters, the puzzles shouldn't be able to auto-snap on the board where it is evidently non-existent. We don't know what the corner pieces are, and lacks so much design that it just looks like you cut up a picture into dozens of smaller rectangles and dumped them onto a blank screen for the players to fix.
Something that bothered me was the constant pop-up instructions during the middle of playing, when they could have been established at the beginning or in the game description instead.
While the game objective the game was potent, it really lacked the proper Instructions or even a tutorial on how to play properly. How are we suppose to know what the Orange coins were supposed to do (on level 4), or that we could step on certain gaps?
I completed all difficulties with ease, simply because there was the outline if the pieces and/or the BG that was there to aid us in the completion of the puzzle. Tbh, it really lacks the 'surprise' in the end, because we already seen and know what the puzzle will look like when it's finished.
