Same style, same maps, same rules, same game. The only new things are the new typos and glitches. De-sync audio with video. You could've at least TRIED to change ANYTHING other than the background. Not even the maps have changed as far as setup of buildings. This isn't even an expansion pack, it's an option to play the game with a different background, and fewer race options.
@Moshdef I felt that way too until a few levels later. Almost all your deaths will be the result of lag, there's a bug that causes the level to be unfinishable, so you have to abort and start over, and when you get to the boss you'll try to kill him a few times, then realize it's impossible. Not only that, but it's nearly impossible for you to grind for more exp. or gold as the boss kills you too fast to kill any other monsters.
Starts at 3 stars. +1 for mildly fun gameplay at start, -1 for bug where all enemies are dead but level doesn't finish, -1 for extremely laggy gameplay with too many enemies on screen, -1 for ridiculously impossible boss.
Most of the weapons: Divider (Quack-o-ray), Invalidator (Rift Inducer), Small Kaiser (Disc Blade Gun), Beam Rifle (Flux Rifle), Bullgun (Shock Blaster), Quick-Sphere (N60 Storm), Coil Caster (Miniturret Glove), Phatman (Nitro Launcher), Afterburner (Lava Gun), and Boomtube (Annihilator). Remember to 'Up Your Arsenal' often, it will really help with those harder levels. Also remember to collect plenty of bolts--I mean inventium.
This reminds me sooo much of Ratchet and Clank 3. Weapon upgrades, challenges, and a replay mode with harder enemies and bigger guns. Come to think of it, the guns are somewhat similar too...
To those having problems with double jump: What usually happens when you try to double jump but can only single jump is that you fell off a platform rather than jumping off of it; so what you meant to be the first jump was a mid-air jump. It doesn’t matter if you jump once or twice, it’s just you can only jump in the air once before touching ground again.
Some things to know about dibble behavior not mentioned in game: Dibbles will walk off any cliff they find. Dibbles will not walk into water unless they have the float command, but they will walk off cliffs or bounce into water. When a dibble falls into water it makes a platform with its dead body, with or without the float command. Covered spikes act like blocks, only you can't build on them. Dibbles can walk across the top of a covered spike if they are at the level above it. (after you cover a spike, place a step in front of it) Dibbles carry the float command until they find water at level with them; the bridge, bungee, and extend commands until they find a cliff; spike commands until they reach a spike at their level; the boom and climb commands until they reach a wall; and the fill command until they reach open ice. All other commands are preformed upon acquisition. Uncracked ice will allow 3 dibbles to cross before needing a fill.
