Thought the Buy Stuff button was a shameless plug to get me to buy Cat God T-shirts and mugs. Didn't figure out what it really was until after I beat story mode. Oops.
Think I was close to lvl 60. Had almost 3 mil in the bank. Over 60 hours of playtime. Decided to give it a rest for a while. Closed browser tab. Came back to around $500k, 32 hours of gametime....guess I'm done. Game needs a safe "save and quit" option. I'll be dropping my rank 2 points because this is pretty game-breaking.
@Target Range - Really? I waited until lvl 50 to get THIS? A complete waste of time with more productive (and possible) things to do in the game. 20 Exp if I can hit a target that moves around with no logic, and stays put for less than 3 seconds? I'm missing the incentive to actually want to waste time in this area (let alone trying to get a 10 hit combo, which I suspect only leads to a 20 or higher...which is impossible unless there's some way to slow it all down)...-1 rating. Should've just saved the $50k
Wanted to give this a 4 (it's very fun), but the sticky commands, where I press one direction and it holds the command the character goes nuts and runs in that direction while I'm trying to go another until I hit that direction again to unstick it....really ruins it for me. If the game was a click-per-move, not hold-to-run this might not happen. As for now, the "wanderlust" my hero gets and runs into lvl 5 monsters at lvl 2 is too much to make me want to play this for long.
5/5 if not for the lag, and sheer stupidity (impossibility) of Bourgeois achievement...3/5 I just can't see myself playing this another x+25 times until the stars aline...again, the lag makes it really hard to even play it
Why does the Restart button light up on accident, then quickly reset the game? And WHY is there even a restart button in the first place? Give that option when you die.
Not seeing the point of the Mega Mega Tower when maps don't provide enough income to even afford 4 mega towers, let alone combine those into a bigger one
it's fun, but seems like the money amount on every level is the same...I don't see how it's possible to make a mega-mega-tower...I haven't even gotten the money to make 2 megas yet...maybe on the harder levels?
Tip: If you've got a piece stuck at the bottom that you can't get to fall, keep trying Wind combos, they'll destroy a block under one of your pieces...eventually it'll clear the block (s) below it
Alright, I figured it out and it out (after trying level 7 over 2 dozen times, no joke)...you look for 2 sets you can make in a row...for example, when you connect greens, the tree totem will get bigger...if the next set is also green, it'll shoot out elements (lightning, fire, etc), if you combo whites, it'll send out wind to destroy a block under a piece (I think), and yellow will give you more time...so break up as you can, and look out for 2 yellow combos (the bigger the second one is, the better, I think) and you can keep refilling the timer...I stayed around 2mins the whole level refilling with yellows
While the puzzles themselves are fun, the "You're an idiots, here's 5 minutes added to your time, because it would've obviously taken you 5 minutes to decide that was the wrong color" aspect really hurts it -2, 2/5
