Using a Phoenix Feather seems to break the game. Monster re-appears at full health, and the action bars stop going up, so you can't launch any more attacks and neither can your opponent. There's a lot of potential here, but there's too many bugs/undocumented features (apparently all skills during training are capped at 8? So you don't want to use too many buff items at the same time when training) and the battles run way too slow.
Final score: 79,985,403. *facepalm* It's a decent game, but the difficulty level is a bit high. It's hard to just make it to the end, regardless of points.
Save doesn't work at all (the continue button! it does nothing!), game tends to glitch past ~60 workers, like not displaying buildings, elevators stop running, and employees stop doing anything at all. It's fun, but it's horribly broken past around objective 10. Which is sad.
Unresponsive controls, lags everytime you touch a coin, terrible hitboxes (teleporters have to be hit in the middle, touching their edges does nothing, and spikes extend a few pixels past what you can see). It shouldn't be frustrating to try and make a simple jump because sometimes your character decides to move then jump and sometimes the spikes kill you before you touch them.
A good solid game. Not too long, and only a tiny bit on the short side. Good graphics, good gameplay (very intuitive how everything works, was able to solve the balloon level first try since it all worked exactly how I expected). Just a good solid game with no real problems.
4/5. Would be 5/5 but making one of the achievements being pressing a button that, if you happen to have clicked anywhere but the main window last, will take you off the page and delete all of your progress is just cruel. Save progress please.
I don't normally like 'artsy games' but this game gets 5 stars in my book. An actual interesting history told in a distinct manner, a whole set of goals (collect artifacts, find signposts, get endings) and great atmosphere make this a 5 star game.
You've got to be kidding me. A game that advices users to basically undo 90% of the useful security features of their browser to play...and it got badges? Seriously?
Sorry, but it doesn't really matter whether the game is good or bad, if it requires making my computer less secure to play it gets 1 star.
Take out the physics (beyond projectile tracking), it just gets in the way (tanks tipping over randomly is not fun at all). Improve the firing AI and the UI (trying to change a tank's orders when they're at a factory is pretty much impossible) and you'd have a really nice game.
Was going great...until one of my planes ended up with its arrow off the screen where I couldn't move it...then inexplicably exploded, apparently for moving offscreen...which I couldn't do anything about. That kind of lame easily spotted bug loses a star in my world. 4/5
A good game ruined completely by the fact you can't control your units if their either attacking or under attack. So that nice bunch of soldiers that just happen to be too close to an alien sniper are going to die, nothing you can do about it, which ruins the gameplay.
