Great game series. Can't help wondering what's going on with all these people variously being locked up in / released from chests all the time. I mean, does nobody store - like - towels or bed linen or stuff in them? Always people?
It would make more tactical sense for a hero to target the enemy with the highest remaining health that can be destroyed in one hit. I got a bit sick of my ranger targeting enemies with a piffling 100 or so HP when he could annihilate one with over 1000, leaving the weaklings to the other classes.
Not many puzzles to rate... so far I've only been given two, despite playing for several weeks... but both of the ones I was given to rate infringed someone else's copyright by ripping sprites out of popular games (in my case, Minecraft and Super Mario Bros.) Maybe there should be a way to report these infringements?
None of them have more than one solution. Feel free to post any suspected multiple solutions and I'm sure another player will point out the error(s) in all but one.
In some of the larger levels, I'd have liked a Sudoku-style note ability so that I could mark cells with 'possible' numbers. It wasn't too annoying not to have this, but including such a facility might allow you to make larger, harder puzzles without rendering them impossible or giving them multiple solutions.
If you're going to have a strong female lead, for pity's sake at least make sure she's appropriately dressed! Never mind the fountain of youth, she needs the Bra of Unyielding Support!
Just a thought, but I think it would be more intuitive to have 'Hatch' on the left, because it uses up resources to the left of the current one in the list, 'Faster' in the middle because it uses up the current resource, and 'Twins' on the right because it uses up resources to the right of the current one.
A nice idea, but only level 14 gave me any trouble. It's easy once you understand the following: pick a region that touches all the regions of a specific colour (or as many as possible) and change it to that colour. Repeat until only one colour remains. This solves all puzzles except 14 and 20, which can be solved with a little trial and error.
