What hectic fresh hell is this?! I like the Paparia games, but I can never keep the customer numbers down in this one!! *Pours gasoline everywhere and tosses a match, just to watch it burn, only to realise... Papa opened up a hotdog branch* FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!
While the first 2 Upgrade Complete games were great, the shift to a defense mission for 3 wasn't exactly what I was expecting. While a nice way to take it, loading everything with Lightning Rods and upgrading them to max with several Money Magnets makes it more of an idle game. At that, it became too easy, since all you had to do was fly around for some hearts without the need of using your mouse. The newspaper at the end, while funny, makes things less welcoming. I can see how it's meant to cater to the F2P populace out there, considering how a metric buttload of MMOs have easy Pay 2 Win options, and I do like that reference, otherwise, it comes in at a low sizzle of 2/5 for me.
Love the futuristic aspect of the game, as well as only having high grade (Black) boxes require keys. Sadly, those are only a few good things. Even in low res, I find my computer fighting to play this game, much less load in the multiplayer option. I find myself waiting roughly two and a half minute for a map to load so I can play, and it just seems that, while a great concept with a good number of quality aspects, it just seems to cater to computers that are meant for gaming. Sadly, I don't have such an income to get one, nor could I save up for such a computer. 3/5, only due to issues.
A wonderful gem of a game amidst the dregs that have been popping up lately. Not only is this a tower defense game, it's a slaughter house of fun, and the difficulty curve is spot on. Each new section in an area provides challenges that one must overcome, while still bringing in some difficult enemies from the previous areas. I find myself happily grinding for the extra coin to upgrade, and all in all, it is a superb game with wonderful graphics and a comical story that had the inner me giggling. 10/10, a true rare gem.
hahahahah... the machine did not realize that it was flawed to begin with. Think of an emotion many try to deal without, the root of many wars, debates, and other things that are still in circulation today, despite how hard we try to get rid of such things.
Elements of D&D, light humor, some character personality blossoming between battles, decent learning curve, simple mechanics and basic knowledge that aren't that easy to master. Honestly, this is one of the very few gems that can stand on it's own amongst the plethora of simple games that usually don't grab my attention. 4/5 is my final rating. Well done!
Thus far, great start, slowly build up, and when you expand, it seems like the waves of enemies just come faster and faster. Granted, I may have only gone so far as level 2, but so far, as a RTS, it's pretty smooth in each stage. While I'm not that big of a RTS fan, I found myself struggling to go back to the Lab to select an upgrade, and going to the front lines to deal with enemy ships. Fantastic overall, and more than enough for me to kill some time. 3/5 from a personal perspective. Worth playing every now and then, and balances management roles of the Civ games as well as the Sim City games, with the constant need of being on edge like many tactical rpgs. You sir, have managed to create a gem, even if you view this as an incomplete project in your eyes.
Interesting game design. Dungeon delving hack n slash with forging capabilities instead of praying you get the right item instead of sh**. The Necromage was a one hit kill, which is pretty bad, but also logical. The enemies having Absorb (including Necromage) adds a difficulty curve, but I managed to get all achievements in one go. WOOHOO FOR FARMING :D
Rocket Launcher Rapid fire... why not just load rockets into a high-powered, high-caliber machine gun for goodness sakes! Cuz that's what it feels like!!! :D
A very in depth game. Reminds me of Final Fantasy a bit, skill wise. Replaces the original leveling method and grinding, now instead of grinding for xp, I'm grinding for sp. I'm building my team as I go, since the final boss is just beastly! I make it to the third form and then he just goes Sephiroth on roids on me.
@Sain Your glyphs disappear/used up when your party dies (-1), you open the door via glyph (-1), or face the ancient evil (either by getting Threat to 100 or facing him in the final battle, all will be depleted)
Really bad sync... I play to the music... worst... christmas... game... EVER! Who cares that Rudolph got BUFF, can't play when a game is out of sync and it lags worse than any downloadable MMO.
@zaozyn To unlock the other units, you need the blueprints for the appropriate building. Until then, use the only unit you can and beat down the frontlines for victory.
