Really adorable, and I enjoyed seeing the consequences for my choices. There was a level of repetitiveness, but I never felt like I was grinding. I'd look forward to an easy badge being implemented for game completion!
Very nice game, super followup to the last one. I love the simplicity of the storytelling, and yet how each character and their challenges seem to resonate throughout. 5/5
Nice start to a series. I would have given it 5/5, but there were some grammatical issues (missing words, mostly), and occasionally the game seemed to lag unnecessarily, which shouldn't be an issue for such simple graphics. That being said, I enjoyed the playthrough. It was fun to piece together the evidence and to solve the case. I do think it was a tad easy, with no real repercussions to wrong selections, but overall amusing and worth the short time it lasted. 4/5
Not a bad start to a game. I kinda like the mix of the puzzle/match 3 element and the idle. I do wish that there were ways to maybe upgrade one or the other (manual or idle), so that there was a good reason to click instead of allow the game to play itself. Look forward to seeing this game develop!
Very moving experience for such a short game. I was in love as soon as you first have the alchemist join you and the music starts. It really is all about the atmosphere and the storytelling in this, and I think you did a great job with both. I love pixel games because, while the graphics are simple, they are still pretty and you have so much more time during development to work on the other elements of a game. Seeing as how you were doing a time-sensitive challenge while making this, I definitely enjoyed your choice to focus on the characters and their connections to one another rather than the mechanics or visuals (which were also nice atmospherically). Thanks so much for a great game! Looking forward to more from you. :)
Good for one playthrough, but really not all that amazing. First off, yes, the ending is absolutely weak. I'm not even sure what the point of the last puzzle is (picture-wise) in relation to getting the treasure. Secondly, I almost felt bad playing through this because it was so reminiscent of Monkey Island (although this particular charm is what I enjoyed as well). Kinda cute, but not what I would call a favorite. 3/5
Cute and pretty good gameplay. It does get a little monotonous pretty quickly, what with having to select the training and each individual hero every single day. I like the suggestions from other people that allow for auto-training in some sense, or at least remembering which heroes you last sent out on a mission. Still, a really good solid framework. :)
While I agree with some of the other commenters in that this game didn't necessarily improve upon the other Upgrade Complete games, this one was enjoyable and I have no regrets after beating it. Yes, it was a very short game, and yes, it did much the same thing as the other Upgrade Complete games...but I didn't really expect anything more or less going in. Still adorable to watch the effects change as they are upgraded, still fun to use lightning everywhere and coin magnets...good stuff. 4/5
Love this game. I actually enjoy ascending in this game, compared to a lot of other idle games I've played; I feel like this one is a little more fast-paced. The only suggestion I have is to have a "max" button for building, because 100 is not that much once you've ascended a few times.
Absolutely love it. At first I was a little upset by the fact that my group of friends would occasionally start dwindling, but then my outlook changed and I realized that I could help everyone find another friend, and that there were people out there looking for someone that I could lead to them. Really very upbeat game, makes you think about things in a different way. Thanks!
I was so confused when I failed to escape from work, but then everything made sense in the end. Good job on demonstrating the true inconvenience and frustration of traffic jams, my coolness was terrible because I kept just forcing my way sideways.
Very nice. I appreciate the education, and I honestly think this deserves to be published on many more sites for public awareness, not just flash gaming ones like Kong.
I'm not a fan of the energy system in any game, idle games included. There shouldn't be a limit to how long I can play a "free" flash-based game. If I feel like clicking for hours on end without paying real money, that should be my decision, rather than having the idle game mode forced upon me by a depleted energy bar. And the argument that you can still play the stock market is rather silly...it's like being allowed to play a minigame within a minigame. I don't mind if there is something else players can buy with real money, but game time? No thank you.
Thank you so much for listening to your player base :) Good to see this in the Hot New Games list! I waited to rate your game to see if there would be any edits to the energy system, etc., but I'm happy to give you a 5/5 now.
This is one of the few games on Kongregate that I find has real replayability. It's not because the experience changes with each playthrough, either; it's simply because of the level of irreverent fun throughout. Looking forward to all new Infectonator titles!
I'm probably ten minutes into the game and I'm already happy, because there's something special about coins flying through the air and showering down onto the floor in mounds. Thank you for sating my greed for loot.
I almost decided not to play this game just because of the comments, but I made myself try it out for long enough to decide two things:
1) I'm very happy that you can now see the world change as you make certain new elements. That was something I (and others) asked for in the other Doodle iterations, and I think it's a nice plus.
2) This game is not playing. Doodle God is significantly better. I am not sure if there are supposed to be more elements in this game or what - even if that were the case, an expanded Doodle God should not need a pay-to-play system and I'd rather replay the old one endless times (which I've done while waiting for further games of its type). I regret being excited when seeing this in the Beta list. It's just made it more of a disappointment to me.
What features in the game you found as a "pay-to-play systems"? As for Glow Power - it just splits the game sessions into shorter intervals so those players how have more time on their hands do not have an unfair advantage of those players who like to have shorter game sessions. No need to pay for recharging here, just wait or earn Mana for Missions completion. As for locked episodes - as described, you should complete previouse episodes to unlock new ones, it's simple. We are working hard on game polishing fue your feedback and hope you will appreciate our work. Thanks!
thank you for your suggestion, we really appreciate it
