If I had three suggestions, the first would be a separate sound toggle for the incorrect fill sound. That glass shattering is so incredibly concentration-breaking and gets really unnecessarily startling when you're focused on the puzzle at hand.
The second would be the ability to make click-dragging only fill on the same horizontal or vertical line, depending on which way you drag first, to prevent accidental misfills.
The third would be making the Safe 1 option prevent fill-clicks from removing the X. I haven't gotten Safe 2 yet, so I don't know if that's what it does; but if that's the case, having them split up makes the first feel less like a nice reward to unlock and more like getting half of what you should be.
Those aside, I love this game. I might have a nonogram problem. Please send help.
For people experiencing lag, try zooming in on the puzzle (E key, Q key zooms out). Part of the issue seems to come from the game having too much to calculate and render on-screen at once.
The way ladders screw with your jumping is pretty annoying, and has killed me more than once. I have the jump and climbing buttons separate for a reason — they shouldn't be interfering with each other. Otherwise, pretty solid game. The knockback is pretty massive, and some of the later challenges drove me up the wall, but those don't detract so much from the enjoyment.
Is it me, or is your Hero unit a giant moron? As soon as an enemy unit walks a tiny bit past him, even if it's still ridiculously close by, he just sort of stares and does nothing useful at all.
You know, it's pretty dang awesome that you guys are being so responsive to player feedback, ESPECIALLY since this is a port. A lot of devs wouldn't even make a browser version, let alone be so attentive to feedback. Game just went from four stars to five for me.
It seems like wherever a scroll appears, it's in a spot where you can leap over, grab it, and then leap back toward the zombies without having your combo expire. Very good design, there!
Yea, level 22 is kind of bull. It would be a lot less frustrating if the game didn't rely on pixel-perfect jumps; makes this feel like a really annoying ROM hack of Mario.
Not getting the badge on the latest release version of Firefox, and there's something odd I've noticed — I have FlashBlock on, yet the game itself just automatically loads instead of giving me the option to enable it. (Yes, I click the other Flash object to enable the achievements system and such to work, that's not the issue.)
