In the shop, for Turiel's chest is says I get a free item if I buy "a pack of 3 chests", but for Wulfgar it says I get one for buying "a bundle". Is that the same thing phrased differently, or does one chest count as a "bundle" of 1? I noticed that the feather requirements for Wulfgar's adventures are half of Turiel's, likely because he's last year's hero and therefore "outdated", so I could see them doing the same for his item. But by the same token, since they were released a year apart, I could see them phrasing the same thing differently and not updating last year's. I'd like to know before spending my extra feathers on a chest.
The free Golden item only comes from purchasing the event chests for real money. It doesn't come from spending event currency on chests. Thanks for pointing out the text between Turiel and Wulfgar is different. We'll get them matching up.
"What type of characters can't be infected on the first click in Infectonator: Christmas Edition?" The first option is "menu", which is not the correct answer. I know you can't infect santas, but you can infect the menu bar????
Yeah, I'm in the same boat as gregxjennings85. I thought maybe this was supposed to be the first level, but I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be at least a second picture of clouds I'm supposed to compare it to. And the description mentions music, which isn't happening.
I haven't actually done the math to know whether this is true or not, but it feels like it is, and really needs to be fixed if true: healing at the base doesn't speed up as you level up. What this means is that the higher level you are, the longer it takes to heal, and the more time your party is spent missing a member. This is a particularly large problem while idling because it could put you in a situation where your party members fight one at a time and die before any other members get revived, preventing you from getting a good farming party going unless you manually tell them to wait at the base to heal.
Well, this is partially solved by your priests, whose healing amount scales with their base damage. Actually I found that they heal up anyone in the base really quickly, and at some point even thought about nerfing the amount of healing they do inside the base. Having your raiders die while farming is supposed to be punishing, and there should be a big difference in terms of how much XP, gold and items you farm on a map when you reach the point where your raiders can survive for a significant amount of time on them without dying. That being said however, fear not! Improvements in this area are coming "in the future", as there will be a way to upgrade the healing capabilities of your base (I probably won't have enough time to put it into the first bigger update on sunday, but soon after).
Wait, wait. You can damage enemies without your raiders by clicking on them? That should REALLY be mentioned somewhere, especially in the beginning when you're just sitting there waiting for your guy to heal after every slime.
So, apparently one of the puzzles requires you to mess with the color levels of a picture. Asking around online confirms that's the case. Well, my monitor doesn't let me alter things like that, and I don't have any programs that let me do that (not gonna pirate Photoshop). Next time, could you please make sure the puzzles are solvable by everyone without downloading any third party programs, and/or do something about this episode to actually make it possible for those people? Having figured out HOW to solve the puzzle, I hate having to go look up the answer online anyway.
The game's silent for me for some reason, even when I refresh. I thought that was intentional, but some of the sound options and comments down here seem to suggest otherwise...
Several times now I've completed a stage and never gotten the "End of Stage" screen, forcing me to quit from the menu. This was particularly upsetting when it happened after an enemy dropped a rare item chest...
Okay, I found a MAJOR exploit. The amount of money you claim from income is determined by what area you happen to be fighting in at that moment. You can skip ahead to area 100, engage the enemy, and claim 10,000 gold before you die. This should probably be fixed.
Aaand as a followup to the comment before that, "play" did allow me to proceed, but left a copy of the loading screen in the background for the duration of the game. Incredibly distracting, so it doesn't really work as a fix.
Like a few other people, I'm stuck at the initial loading screen. The bar has completely filled up, and the animals have walked all the way across the screen, and nothing. No button I've tried works, either (except for the links to developer page and so forth).
SECRET TECHNIQUES: Once you unlock Gekkyu, hold down the attack button until a fiery aura surrounds your character, then press space to unleash a massive Soul Tempest. Also, once you upgrade your standard combo to 10 hits, stop clicking (or hold the button, whichever you prefer) once you use the last attack with the rising wolf in order to follow up with a large wolf-shaped attack in front of you.
For the record, you CAN set the game to "idle mode" by clicking the coffee mug in the bottom right corner. It'd still be nice if there was a way to "disable" certain boards while you're not on the coffee screen, but if you intend to let the game sit, the spreadsheet will minimize the lag.
The total output of a full set (125/175/100/100/100/100) of fully upgraded everything-but-hyperdrive: 24,528,000. The output of a single fully upgraded hyperdrive: 40,960,000.
