My 100th shield cost as much as my 170th hyperdrive. And yet my entire collection of 100 fully upgraded shields only gives as much as three not-fully-upgraded hyperdrives. Which is one fully upgraded hyperdrive. Maaaaaybe some balance issues there.
Yep, that is one of those little "boo-boos" that happened when I tuned the game to be shorter. A few costs go whacked out and it's on me. The overall game length is what I wanted but there are those strange costs. DANG IT! That said, thanks for the comment and the play! Best, -Tim
When fully upgraded, the engine boost gives 15% of your "per second" to your click. I thought it would stack, considering how everything else did. Even still, it's mislabeled, as both the fifth and sixth upgrades say "12%", while the last probably means to say "15%".
AHHH! HAHAHAHA dang it!! I think you are right - I'll check. The values internally are correct (they are procedurally calculated) regardless but yah. HAHAHAH Thanks for the catch! Best, -Tim
For those looking for a way to group students, try renaming them with a letter or number before their name. Like "1. Bert McFarty" for group 1. This puts them at a specific order in the list when sorted alphabetically.
I'm making millions of dollars per hour, and am still only a third of the way through "Known" with the mayor's daughter... I'm going to be the richest man in the world before I can marry her.
One major and common issue with idle games, Flash has reduces the framerate of any game that isn't currently visible on screen, whether it be scrolled down or in another tab. I know some devs have a solution for that, but I'm not sure what it is... See if you can find out, and impliment it here.
Oh geez, that was wierd. The game was going really slow on me, so I reloaded the page... And now it's going faster than ever. Like, clearly at least twice as fast as the game is supposed to go. The enemies look like they're moving in Fast Forward.
Is there a quicker way to pause? Apparently pausing will help the game "catch up" when the controls stop working, but that's not all that helpful when P is on the opposite side of the keyboard from the rest of the controls. Sometimes you just don't have the time to move over there.
Fudge! When your game forced the "how much do you want to store" prompt on me, I set it to unlimited and said "never ask again". It told me setting it below unlimited would delete all my files, so I hit "okay", because I never want to set it below unlimited, so I never want to get asked again... So it forced it down to 0 and deleted all my files on all my games. >.<
Yeah, I was definitely bugged. There were four "untouchables", but resetting brough it back to three and I cleared the stage quickly. That was incredibly frustrating, though.
Okay, I take that back, my weapon upgrade purchases weren't saved, but the weapons I have currently equipped were... So I have weapons equipped that it says I haven't bought? The hell?
I really, really wish this game had a setting for people with poor light perception. Even at night with all the lights off, Kongregate's white page sets my eyes into "daylight mode" and makes it nearly impossible to make out anything on the dark game screen.
At the very least, Kongregate should have a "lights out" option that gets rid of the white background. I might be able to see something if they did.
I feel there should be more, small prizes for placing 2nd and 3rd. Maybe a second booster that doesn't have the special 1st place rewards, or one that only has one or two cards in it. As it is, the race is really all about first place or nothing, and there's often one player that almost always gets first.
