Is there any way to make my Kongregate version my "main account"? I never found out about account linking until I had already invested a lot of time into this version, but it seems like the only option is to overwrite my account here with one elsewhere.
Howdy! We actually already have this system completely ready to go, just waiting on Kongregate's approval before we can turn it on. They're looking into it, hopefully it will be available in the next couple of days! [-fex]
Haha, my last medal was Trouble with Truffles, so I ended up winning by dying. Kind of fitting for the game's title that I escaped the nightmare by throwing myself right in death's way.
To unlock the secret mode, don't attack any enemies. After you've dodged the first few waves, it will be triggered automatically.
You might want to beat the game first, though.
If you get the first strike on a stunned enemy, it counts as the turn ending before calculating their own attack, allowing them to ignore the stun's effect. This means that the assassin's high initiative actually interferes with his stun ability.
Well, as has apparently happened to other people, I'm for some reason unable to connect to Kong's chat/score servers while this game is up. Which is strange, because it seems to work just fine in other games. The little plug indicator is red, and the chat just gives me an infinite loading message.
As with many others, I got stuck on an infinite loading screen after completing the base objective on the last town. This is keeping me from replaying undestroyed towns to get 100% (as it happens every time I infect a town now), and is apparently keeping me from a New Game+ that the title screen implies exists.
It took me a while to figure out that you can craft an item from the cargo bay once you've made it through research. Perhaps this should be made more obvious. I noticed a few people seem to have missed this entirely.
User2351, there are hints for the secret stages. All three are accessed with level select codes. Two of them are iconic, and one is hinted at in the trivia for one of the games.
#52 should be Air Buster, singular, not Air Busters. And #56 should be Mega Man, not Megaman. Also, there should really be an "I give up" option for 10-15 hint points, for those questions we can't possibly know.
Also, no Lufia. Seriously, how can you have freaking Alfred Chicken but no Lufia?
If you're able to answer more than half of these, it's not because you were a nineties gamer, it's just because you know your gaming history. Nineties gamers NEVER owned both a Genesis and SNES. You picked a side, and went to war with the other one (except when you went to a friend's house who had the other system).
