About half the time I complete a challenge it registers with kongregate. The other half it doesn't... How about saving your progress in the game save file, so the kong API can read it? Also, unless you start at level 1 in normal mode, it doesn't seem to register completed levels.
Ok, there are many good things about this game, but it is annoying as F**K when you loose for the 213123th time because the ball flies straight through your line. You should fix that.
Fun little game!
As for the contra code... I don't know that one, but I tried typing "armor games" once, and I found that typing "jmtb02" and then beginning to type "armor" sometimes works for the contra code. That's how I did it ^_^
I haven't found any bugs in this game. But does it save? I haven't dared try it out x:. By the way: I SUGGEST YOU REPOST MY TIMES AND TIPS SO THEY STAY VISIBLE, AND ADD A NOTE TELLING OTHERS TO DO IT.
Tips: Homing missiles can help you hit all enemies, and can be useful for getting 100% kills. But remember that the rocket launcher and flame thrower are the most powerful weapons. The flame thrower is the fastest to kill with if you can afford loosing some life getting close. Otherwise, the rocket launcher is your friend. Also remember that when you get hit there is a short while when you are blinking, and can run through. Mortars take out soldiers the best, and you can fire them while shooting the other gun. That should help you :)
For those wondering, these times gave me gold medals, and these are my guesses for limits:
Level 1: 1:58:77 (guessing 2 minute limit)
Level 2: 3:24:11 (guessing 3 minutes and 30 seconds limit)
Level 3: 1:49:72 (guessing 2 minutes limit)
Level 4: 1:49:80 (guessing 2 minutes limit)
Level 5: 1:59:80 (guessing 2 minutes limit)
As far as I know, you need 100% kills to get a kills gold star, and I think you need 25 damage taken (to you, regardless of medpacks), or less, to get a gold "damage"-medal (I know 20 works for gold, guessing 25 works too).
Level 1 is the hardest to kill everything on. You have to kill EVERYTHING on your way back too. All soldiers, all walkers, etc.. Cannons count as kills btw, and where there are dual paths there are usual enemies in both. I have my impossible badge now :). It's definately possible.
The "Hard" badge should probably be "Impossible", like on Amorpheus+. In Ziltch it would be more time consuming than skill-based, but it takes FOREVER.
I made the "macho dumbass" suggestion thinking the hidden mission in godly was completing the game with only the "favourite colours" from one of the hints, with no continues. That is: Yellow, cyan and the pink thing (movement). But I see that several other comments here claim that the hidden mission is completing it with orange, red, blue and purple. I did that! No go! Did my _one_ accidental absorbtion of a magnet in yellow state ruin everything? Does anyone here have the last mission, so they can say?
The "My favourite colours" thing becomes stoopidly difficult at level 12 or something. As for Kong taglines for badges, I just thought of one I found funny for the impossible badge here: Pull off being a macho dumbass in colourPod2: Dimensionpod. :)
Looking at the comments here, I see the same thing that I've seen on countless Kong games:
If most comments say the game is great, loads of people add to them by saying it's amazing. If most of the comments say the game sucks, the sheep follow suit.
I think that's pretty pathetic, so let me just say what I, honestly, think about this game: I like it, and I think it's a good game. And the impossible badge is tricky. I have maybe 8 or 9 impossible badges, but not this one yet. It takes time AND skill. If you've done 10 of 24 achievements you're not really qualified to comment... I have 21 of 24 at present.
I have to say I am _really_ impressed with the level design in many of these levels. I suppose the main idea for coming up with a level in this game, would be to start with something and then mumble it up. But I don't think that's all there's to it here... Considering having juuust enough little pieces to slide through, being able to rotate something which at first might seem hopeless to move, and so on. I think somebody has a very good understanding of this kind of movement, and an inventive mind to boot. As a mathematician, I am impressed!
So kudos, and thank you for the super challenges! Although I must admit I did juggle pieces around mindlessly a few times :P
