Still seeing some bugs with the timer - the mission and Sword being different, the sword correctly saying it's finished and then restarting the timer when clicked on - but nothing beyond an inconvenience since it's always just graphical.
I haven't been paying enough attention to give detailed info, sorry. I'll try to note down enough details to approach 'reproducible' next time.
Eh, after the bunny, I was actually looking for a 'run away' option in the cat fight.
Killing a rat and a bunny wouldn't be quite as bad - could even bring the rabbit back to the parents.
Worst thing that could happen is the rat giving a disease.
I think you get far too much money late game as a pirate (as opposed to as a trader)
If the powerful shots were more expensive, there might be more point to going the trader route - if you want to earn money fighting, you need to do it with normal shots, but if you only care about victory you can throw around gold-plated nukes and perform at about the same strength as a pirate.
That way, traders can still get into new ports, and it's merely a matter of what you do the rest of the time (fight a bunch of battles, or go trade)
This game looks quite impressive, but do you HAVE to sell the equipment for IRL money? I'd give you money for cosmetic things if you'd impressed me by not being pay-to-win, but now I'll instead get what entertainment I can for free, then quit the game entirely.
Gotta love stacking up every single kind of 'causes X between turns' you can get your hands on, and then sitting there as 3-5 attacks happen, several of which have a special animation just for them.
NoLegs and Machinegun Tanks is powerful enough on its own without throwing more nonsense into it.
The upgrade system is a bit hard to understand.
I didn't see anything that mentioned I could only have so many upgrades, bought some cheap ones to help get more money, and suddenly got stuck without being able to buy more.
I like it.
Now if only there was a proper sandbox RPG with this - maybe an 'Immortal Being' of a sorts that could shape kingdoms not by force, but by setting the pieces up and going to sleep for 50 years to let the revolution take place at it's own pace.
You could also have the villains do similar things - if you go to sleep for a millenia, you will wake to find everyone's behaving the way your rivals want, and not the way you want.
My main concern is that it's too upfront about it.
We're on the right track, making a big deal out of 'same-gender romance is fine' risks just getting the attention of the religious.
We don't want to make it a war - it's better if it's a change in culture that no one notices before the children already think the way we want.
Again, since you really don't seem to get it, 'free to play' doesn't mean 'microtransaction'
This is a site for actual free-to-play games.
Yaknow, games made because you like making games and want to share it with the community.
Perhaps with a donate button so we can support the developers we really like.
I seem to be able to summon high-cost units with my last point.
More specifically, using the 'gain 1 reinforcement points' tactic with a charging minotaur as my last remaining unit let me re-gain the minotaur three times in a row, winning me a battle I'd otherwise narrowly have lost.
Oh, but a few of the maps I solved with pure luck. In one case where she's to the lower left, I dropped off the stage within 5 seconds of starting (to see what fragments I dropped through for a clue), and won when I landed on her.
If it works, it works. haha. Nice find.
