22 thanks to a lucky layout on the last couple floors. Awesome game, and as usual, awesome song as a reward for winning. Another feather in your cap, nerdook, and I'm sure I'm not the only one to say so~
Found a bug: if you buy the last ship, then "buy down" to the tank, you get the materials as if you owned the tank, instead of losing them. For each diamond you have, you can upgrade to the last ship and then back to the tank, and you get 6 silver each time. In most towns, 6 silver is worth more than 1 diamond, so you can beat the game as soon as you can afford your first diamond, via cashflow (have 10 cloth, buy max diamonds, upgrade to ship, downgrade to tank, up and down until you're out of diamonds, sell silver, buy more diamonds). I got 24 days abusing this, please fix it.
Clearly, since every opponent is left handed, this must be the righteous hacking crusade against the sinister hackers! Fantastic game, a handful of complaints because the game was obviously re-balanced before release, and the tooltips weren't updated, but I can appreciate that being a lot of work. Gj on a great game!
You can beat the orc mission early by being crafty... have a team of 3F1M, park all the girls on the other side of a river, then use your guy to round up all the orcs on the other side. The girls clear them out with spells for a huge bonus, super useful in the first month~
three stacks of two slow + one eye and two stacks of 3booster+pierce and 4booster + pierce got me through everyone, once I got it. Fun game, a little on the easy side, but it's a great twist on defense games~
Third try for the hard badge, today. Only real advice I can give is don't let him go skull without at least Lv 4 or 5, and don't forget you can stand behind him when he lasers the bottom half of the stage.
To all the people bitching that you can't save, this is a roguelike, which means death is permanent, and it's not a design flaw, it's intentional as part of the genre of the game.
What you're looking for is suspend, which is effectively pausing the game if you need to quit.
Love it, great balance, many ways to play. Decided on a defensive Ice/Holy build that worked for me really well, and came up #43 on their high scores list ^_^
very bland game based entirely on luck... half the levels are "run to the green dot, wait for the portal, leave, and hope that the guards never look at you" Can be beaten entirely on luck, and requires little or no skill... 2/5, good concept, horrible execution ^_^
Really enjoyed this game... I hated when, in Crush the Castle, I could already see what to do, but lag (crap comp) or bad luck would ruin it. One level was a little hard to get par, but everything else was a rewarding puzzle to get through. 5/5 without a doubt.
