The description for Shield VI when I hover over it is kind enough to display what the total block per trimp will be when taking trainers into account. However, in the upgrade window the next upgrade for the shield does NOT tell me what the total amount of block gained per imp would be, which makes it very difficult for me to calculate whether or not that's a good investment. If we could add the same kind of informational help to the items in the upgrade menu as is present in the equipment menu, that would be awesome!
In sandbox mode it would be very helpful if you could input that you wanted a certain amount of balloons and then tell the round to start. It would also be helpful if we could make it simulate a given wave on a given difficulty.
The game becomes exceptionally tedious around level 12 on the first playthrough, and seems to pretty much stay that way. It gets to be a lot like work.
I've been playing for four days now. Today I logged in and my save file is completely gone. I'm starting all over except for my monkey cash, and I'm level 1 again. That probably needs to be looked at. I changed no settings and did not clear any browser or data files.
I don't think that's a bug, Johnovy. I think that's done intentionally for those that pay attention. Just like some of the investments are better than others.
Perhaps a way around the bug that doesn't load all of the swimming lanes, programmers and the music studios is to allow a user to sell back those items, and repurchase them later. That way a user could sell the programmers and such that are not working, and buy them again to reset them. Just an idea.
It would be nice to be able to sell a farm animal. If I decide (for some odd reason) that I don't want my chicken any more, and instead I want a sheep, the only way to do that is to let it die. Which is fine. Unless you've maxed out the "Decrease Animals Hunger" stat, in which case you can't change animals.
This is a significant improvement over the last version. I think a lot of the feedback deserves a look as well, but there were some very cool changes, additions and adaptations made to this version. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
Thanks for the game!
Something in the math of the reset is off. Currently, I am being offered a reset bonus of %192 for $36.86T. According to my math, this bonus of %192 should cost $38.592T.
Okay, I'm now playing the new version... And suddenly my ability to purchase bonuses went way down, which sucks. But okay, whatever. Now however, I have 35.94 Trillion dollars, and it will only allow me to spend 35.67 Trillion, which is the amount I had at the time I first opened this menu after refreshing my browser.
Yet again I allowed my program to run all day, and amassed my fortune. I then exported the file from my Firefox browser and to test it, I tried to import it to my Internet Explorer browser. IE would not accept the import. Perhaps this is because the two versions are different, or perhaps it's a different bug. In either case, I'm now worried about what will happen if I close my Firefox browser.
Another bug. I had left my game running all day. When I left for work, I had $26 T. When I came home, I had another $26 T earned in my oil rigs and cloth factory. I exported my game data and saved the output. Then I cashed out. When I then used the game export, the money that had been stockpiled in my oil rigs and in my cloth store were gone - $26 T dollars worth just vanished. I checked though, and the days of the game were accurate and reflected the save file of my $52 T earnings that I had exported. In other words, it counted the days, but lost my money. Apparently you need to cash out your cloth store and oil rigs before exporting, or else it wipes out any cash you have in those two facilities when you re-load.
Element, thank you for the answers below. I did want to point out that today when I refreshed my game (not reset, refreshed my browser with my game in tact), my swimming pool lanes, computer programmers and music studios were all gone. I had to purchase them again, but the cost to do so started where I had left off such that my first swimming pool track was $736,000. My first programmer was going to cost $1.96B. My first music studio was going to cost $4.63B.
Luckily, I was sitting on a mountain of cash and was thinking of resetting anyway. But I can see how just refreshing the game (and I had even backed it up by exporting the code - and trying to re-import did not work) and it not working correctly might frustrate some folks.
I think there is a problem with UNity games, sometimes when you refresh and the plugin is loaded, there is a moment that it freezes like a second and then the game appears. I think this affects the loading functions that execute right in the first frame. This would never happen if you have a game with a main menu where you have to choose your saved game because at that point, the plugin and game where already loaded and everything runs smoothly. It's a head breaker.
@Sharpnove - If you can't click the reset buttons, it's probably because you have not clicked the button to actually add a bonus yet. Try clicking the plus sign or the "max" button. The game won't let you reset until you have told it you want at least one bonus.
Three questions. What's the max number of workers in the clothes factory? What's the highest production level of the fabric factory? What's the highest level I can take my oil rigs to?
