I liked the game but not the achievement. As humans can randomly run up to soldiers even if you're careful, it's luck whether you save all of them or not. Took me 4 or 5 run throughs with first getting me right to the end just as one died and others with deaths randomly in the middle.
Fun for a quick go. Nice easy achievements apart from "Sky Captain" which took random luck even with all upgrades.
Why does Magellan provide more upgrade points when it's clearly easier? You can get Magellan in way under 3 minutes.
And to those commenting on the script - yes, it was pretty bad but then the game is free and the developer probably wrote it themselves.
I still enjoyed the game. Was tempted to skip the story scenes but sat through them for the full cheesy experience :)
kn0x, I was rarely on the far right and completed it fine. I never ran out of fuel in adventure mode, although I did fall down a few holes.
The bosses were too easy, though. Completed all of them on my first go.
Like a few other people, I played a fair way in to the game before I realised that you could move your cannon without shooting too.
K should have made an achievement for completing the game without using direction controls!
Enjoyed the first 48 levels, then 49 was annoying, 50 was completely frustrating and the "90+" level infinite run was pretty much random and no fun at all.
