Took me a while to find the end boss -- you need to reach the end of the level, then start heading back to the start and more enemies will appear, then head to the end again to see the boss.
Enjoyable game. The "heroic dash" skill really didn't seem to work well for me, always leaving me in more trouble than I started!
I got the hard badge with the napalm skill and missiles, collecting as many AA specialists as possible. I got the hard badge without getting the "nanobots" or "salvation" powerups. "Future Armor" was very useful though.
A good tactic for the control point levels seems to be to go scout with health and speed, then sit and defend on a control point. You can get all the enemy team to attack you while your own team runs around and caps the points.
Seems to have a memory leak causing lag after a while. Worse, when it lags you can fall through platforms and die. If this bug was fixed, it would be 5 stars from me.
I've probably missed something, but couldn't work out the use of the powerup that adds an extra attack at the end. After hitting an enemy, I usually couldn't make another hit without a pause anyway (it works fine when I don't hit anyone)
Agh, had everything unlocked over a few days play, now my save seems to have vanished. I'm not going to bother retrying the hard badge, the grind takes too long.
Just far too easy. Very quickly, you can hover just above the mine level and continue across the screen eating everything and completing the level in seconds with a massive combo. With a more challenging difficulty, this could have easily been a 5*.
Somehow I missed the notice that the focus power recharges near danger. Once I found that out (after completing all 20 levels!), it was easy to speed up and get the time challenges.
I didn't mind the difficulty of the last level. It requires skill rather than luck, and each time I tried, I improved. The only level I didn't really like was the one with the black hole things that seemed a bit luck based, unless I misunderstood how they worked.
Tips for hard badge:
1) Accelerate even when downhill, as long as your wheels are on the ground. It works because if you're going slowly you still use a lot of fuel to accelerate, so keep going fast!
2) Try and get ~730ft on the first day, buy tyres, transmission, engine and as much fuel as you can (I bought $760).
3) Max out fuel and buy as much gun ammo as you can. At the end of day 2, I just got over the top of the 3rd hill, but think I was lucky!
4) Buy as much boost as you can. I was 1 notch from the top and still had > $1000 left over. I used all boost while on the 3rd hill to easily fly over the crates on 3rd day.
Game broke before the tutorial started, now making the tutorial impossible to complete on my account, so I can't play at all. KIXEYE apparently won't support the game on Kongregate to fix the problem with my account, so I'm unable to play on here.
Great game, although some levels were a bit tough to perfect with only a trackpad -- particularly level 27 (I think it was). I hate those water-wheel things!
I haven't played much, but seems easy with the hound. Just heal occasionally when needed. Once at level 5, you can pretty much get away with just using light beam and nothing else. It only needs 1 energy, causes damage and causes cumulative power down, so the more you use it, the less damage the enemy inflicts, other than poison.
Fun game, but I found the last boss very easy with my build of the wolf girl. With max regen and adding a few points to health, she healed faster than he could damage her. I also found that the head hunter's skill with cooldown of 2 was very powerful when a couple of points are added.
Thanks arghness!!
