I have an idea on how to fix the right click glitch. Well, two actually.
To solve a problem, first you need to know why it happens.
The glitch gets triggered because the mouse leaves the area unexpectedly, i.e. without first reaching the edge of the screen. This at least happens from the view of flash, as the application loses focus.
You can, however initiate a pause when the flash loses focus (the code of which depends on the as version). This pause can then be set to unpause ONLY when the mouse is back to its previous location.
The second, more common, simple but also less sophisticated solution is to simply trigger a game over when the movie loses focus.

Another thing that I noticed is that you can also move the mouse really quickly over a line (nothing you can do controlled, but a bug nonetheless) and it will "jump" over it.
The way I suggest to solve this is instead of hit testing the dot and the maze, hit test a line between the previous location and current location with the maze.
That concludes my lecture to the fixing of common maze game bugs :P.
Hope this helps you better your game. It is quite good already (for a maze game, I mean some of them just make you sick).
Some music would be nice (although as coder myself I'm no specialist either) and also try working something with glow effects and glow trails after the dot.
Good luck!

I've seen worse.
Nice first try, although in my book it's a bit overconfident to call this a game.
One thing that needs changing (fast) is that the ball can drop off the screen.
Either place walls at the sides, or do that thingy where it appears on the other side.
Last note: your age plays no role whatsoever. And I'm not much older either.
This game would do well with some sort of storyline, all I know is that I'm flying in the middle of space and being attacked by masses of other ships.
As has been pointed out, it's very repetetive. Most games of this type solve that with bosses and/or upgrades.
Most people expect shooter games to be fast, alone because of the genre. Slow-paced games tend to bore, unless they are designed as puzzle games. Simply tweaking the frame rate slightly should fix that :-)
Last but not least, I think that big weapons tend to be more attractive than small ones.
Please note that I did actually like the game, I just point out points I found could do with improvement.
First off, change the colours. You *can't* look at it. I like gray as background, as it allows you to see all colours, including white.
Second, a game has to have a purpose. This one does not. I can click and click until I die, no gameover, no win, no nothing.
Third, as you may have noticed, games like this don't get a very good reception. Try waiting until you have something really good to deliver. Why don't I have the developer icon? I don't rush.
Fourth, I know it's hard for some people - being one of them - but try to improve on graphics and add some sound. A game with good visual is a lot better than one without, even if it is completely rubbish.
Good luck making games. You'll need it, it *is* hard.
