It's pretty fun. Not so much a puzzle as tedious on some levels. I just don't have the patience to get past level 34. I see what needs to be done, but I don't feel like sitting here making little bits of progress. I guess that's why I don't like this one as miuch as some of the others by this developer.
AI needs to be dumbed down. Who wants to feel hopelessly outmatched on the third level of a game. I sat there and watched the enemy take me from 65 to 0 in one turn. Still not sure exactly how that worked.
Why does clicking make you lose automatically? I'm using a Wacom pen and it really only works if I can contact the draw plate, but that is detected as a mouse click, which makes me lose.
The easy level is easy. I can't get past the middle level. Something happens and one minute I'm destroying creeps before they make it to the half-way point, then suddenly I'm losing elements on almost every wave.
I'm enjoying it, even with the respawning enemies (which I admit is annoying). But it's frustrating to earn Experience that seems useless. What are the Experience points for?
Mother Fark! I just need one silver star to unlock homing missiles, so I was going through the last level VERY carefully, to keep my damage low. Then, just before the final boss I accidentally run over a Flamethrower "power-up." All I could think about was clocking the developers.
Ah...hilarious! I just held down W for a while and eventually I darted up onto the screen. It means I totally avoided the "Survive" part of level 2. The enemies where coming off the screen to get me but I took no damage at all while I was off the screen.
HUGE BUG...End of level 2. I destroyed the helicopter and then assumed I'd have to race back to the beginning so I moved to the bottom of the screen. I actually went off the screen and disappeared. I could move back and forth and watch the enemies track my movement, but I couldn't get back on the screen. Now the female pilot is just sitting there waiting for me to board her plane, but I can't come back on the screen.
You never take damage if you just keep clicking attack. The enemy should be a different color because sometimes it's hard to tell who is who when they get close.
Is there a way to get rid of the little instruction bar at the bottom of the view port? Because the enemy can shoot at me when they are under it, but I can't see them to shoot back, which makes it really difficult.
