Have you thought about making mining lasers work as weapons? Maybe have them be really inefficient, but that would be nice when a couple of stingers catch you mining while you can't get to a base and switch quickly.
Bug report: I'm not making as much as I should be. I estimate my cash flow at just over 1 octotrigintillion cps (about 1.2?), but my donut shops (highest earning) reports 2.196 octotrigintillion cps. Also, I added up my my total cps to about 3.2 octotrigintillion, so might it be a problem with bought multipliers? I bought 1 (so I have x3) and since my income is at about a third, this might be the problem, multiplier not being applied.
I don't want to ruin it for people but some people seem to have gotten really stuck on the camera level, so here's a hint: the password is proper English, aka grammatically correct. Hope this helps.
Haven't gotten to the end yet but (possible spoiler alert):
Strong portal foreshadowing (this was a triumph [Still Alive], cake lie hello [Cake is a lie], it's an AI that has defended it self)
As a possible idea for a new mechanic, what about squares you must cross multiple times? It would let you do more than 3 turns in a row, which would be great for variability. Also, you could make a full reverse section, where the line ends and you have to go to the previous square (looking at the squares by beats with short notes as 1, medium/straight as 2 and long as 3, this would be 4 beats) or even further, with 5+ beats to a single square.
yeah i have! It would take a while and it remains to be seen if I can make something that would fit most kinds of music e.g. straight paths and a variation at the end of each bar.. or something. But it looks like it'll be pretty difficult, I'm content with looking at make-your-own-levels-and-share-them for now. Soundodger tried to do the autogen levels but it didn't really work in that game so I'm uncertain
The lasers deal damage wrong. Right now, the only lasers that deal damage are 1-4, lasers 5 and 6 don't damage enemies unless I target only 1 or 2 at a time.
Could you separate the train/skill scroll bars from the fight monsters scroll bar? Since the fight level moves rapidly at the beginning and then slows down, the skill/training bars need to be in different places from the fighting bar most of the time.
Something that would help so much with this game is to have an auto-use function (ex. automatically upgrade the best ship in your fleet with every common ship/exp card you get.) Most of my time fighting is spent getting rid of the cards anyway. Another option would be to let you have a "flagship" (or something like that) and choose from the cards you won which to immediately use to upgrade.
@Nephillim I'm at 1.37 mil after about 24 hours. It does take a long time, but it's not all that unbearable, particularly when it only takes up 1 clone.
More people should tell players to rate their games 1/5. If you've ever seen the lowest rated games on kong, you'll know the only way this beats them is that it is honest.
Also, what the best position for laser turrets? I came up with this:
1 -----
5 \ //
3 \X/
4 /X\
6 / \\
2 -----
Not sure how this will show up in comments, but I hope you get the idea. Basically it looks like an X with a line under and over it.
Interesting fact about homing bullets. Even though it says turn off to improve performance, since they accelerate towards the target, having it on actually improves performance by lowering the number of bullets on the screen at any time.
Just a request, could you make the statistics for the shadow clones (in the box that shows up when the mouse is over "Clones /") change actively like you did with the battle power? It would make it a lot easier to read. Overall though, I like all the updates and the game.
A little bug with the mouse wheel scrolling, you seem to scroll the length of the screen each "notch" on the mouse wheel, which is a problem since you can't actually see the full screen. Basically, scrolling skips things on the lists.
Since the UI is kinda confusing and hard to understand at first (I assume this is the root of the scrolling buy buttons) what if you made a help button that covered the screen with an overlay (ex. show buy near the buy buttons and explain all the tabs and stuff) This might help not only now but also if there are any UI changes in the future. Just a thought.
hey why is this getting down voted? This is exactly the idea I'm working on for World 4, haha. We think alike
