Why impose a lvl cap on a single player game - and how is it necessary to impose a level cap for balance reasons? I'm giving this 3/5 instead of 4, for that level cap, since some of us actually enjoy over-grinding earlier on in games like this one ... the level cap forces us to change the way we like to play certain types of games, taking a lot of the fun out of them ...
From reset to #3 in the all-time high scores in 4hrs odd ... at this point, continuing becomes kinda pointless, as the game has become somewhat boring again. With $84.23a/s Cash/s, and 703.87a investors, the game becomes a click-fest ... On starting a new game after retiring, immediately drop 35+ points into public speaking, set all the quantities to 1k, click a few seconds to fill each bar, 40-odd points into each of outsource and mandatory overtime, buy 350 of each type of unit, then as much as can be afforded of sellers and seller managers, in x25 blocks. activate vacation, buy a few more sellers. Buy 20 points in insider trading (seems to max out at 20?). Activate lower room temperature, then prestige while it's active. Total time taken is about 2-3mins, each cycle increases your Cash/s by about x10. Rinse and repeat till yoo get bored ...
after a dozen or so new factories, the game becomes a pure clicker, as clicking gains far outstrip idle gains. currently takes about 3mins of clicking to increase Cash/s by over 500x per restart.
Levels 43, 45 and 50 each took at least half a dozen attempts to get right - all the other levels needed only 2-3 shots at most. Pretty easy hard badge, less than half a hour to get through all 50 stages of it.
Liked it, but too easy and too short ... after half a doen or or shock guns and a couple of magnets, everything dies before they can come onto your screen. Whole game only takes about 15mins to finish.
suddenly stopped working since yesterday ... loading screen comes up, but then flickers over to a black screen, and doesn't change from a black screen afterwards. My internet connection is working fine on other tabs, and this game worked fine until 2 days ago - settings haven't changed at all in the last 2 days, so can't figure what went wrong ...
Seems to be a memory leak somewhere. Using firefox, on windows 8. Over a period of 3 hours or so, memory usage climbs steadily from 400mb-ish, till about 55gb, at which point firefox crashes.
A few more notes: 1) Needs some way of regenerating health other than drinking potions. If this already exists, I'm sorry, but it doesn't appear to be noticeable - and in which case there needs to be some way of increasing the regen speed. 2) Needs more info on enemy level in a particular zone - shouldn't have to walk in blindly and suicide against something to find out the difficulty curve ramps up steeply. 3) Potions should state how many HP or MP points they heal by. 4) Stats need more info, eg. What does defense do compared to armor, and are they by a flat amount or a %?
1) Aside from potions and heal spell there is no way, at the moment, probablly soon!
2) The enemy level in a zone is stated in the bottom left panel, that should be enough to ballpark what you need to do to stay alive :)
3) I will update the descriptions now!
4) Good call, I'll get that in there ASAP!
Decent old-school RPG - shows promise. Needs more info on skills: Unlock requirements, max level. Needs a quality control toggle. Movement speed is very slow. If you click on a menu link whilst walking around in an area populated by critters, and if the menu opens at the same time as you encounter a critter, the game will freeze.
seems like when any value goes beyond 7410, it becomes undefined. In the case levels, level 7410 seems to be the limit. As far as costs of spells, as well as cash on hand goes, once you go beyond a certain point, they become infinite. Not sure if this is a bug, or intentional, since the top level of achievements is labelled at "achieve undefined number of XYZ".
Unable to connect for the last 13 hours-odd. Connection error #2032. If you're reading this Ray, could you or someone else look into, pleeeease? Thankees.
Hi, we would love feedback on what would make this more enjoyable for you. :)
