the badge is really really easy ... just get the pancor jackhammer, get baseHP+20 x5, maxHP+10x5, and start as close to the bottom of the screen for as long as possible, to keep the splatter near your base to a minimum ... got the badge 1st attempt, took less than 5mins this method.
Just finished with staff ... actually quite easy beyond the initial grinding stage. I just bought the 2nd staff (1next one up from the one you start with), then saved up for the best staff. In terms of skills, I went in this order: 1) Survival training 5/5, 2) Regeneration 5/5, 3) Staff mastery 5/5, 4) Piercing shoot 3/3, 5) Quick learner 3/3, 6) Shukuchi 3/5, 7) Soul thirst 3/3, 8) Nimble footsteps 1/1, 9) Tidal wave mastery 3/3, 10) Iron body 1/4. Once you have piercing shoot maxed, the game suddenly becomes MUCH easier, as all your projectiles will pass through several enemies in a line, making short work of flying enemies from halfway across the screen.
Hard reset to fix? After all the time spent so far, not going to bother I think ... Considering the last update broke the game for me, I'm changing my rating from the 5/5 it was on, to the 1/5 it now is ... bugs should have been tested for and ironed out before release. Otherwise, the game should have been rolled back until the bugs were fixed ... telling players to fix bugs themselves through a hard reset is a big no-no.
Found a glitch ... Playing as archer, if you move between screens with your bow drawn, the graphics glitch up and bow drawing become impossible - only fix seems to be to save the game and then refresh the page.
Titans seem to be pretty awesome after the latest round of updates. I've gone up from 1.36e13 gems to 1.3e14 gems in about 3 hours, with judicious use of lightning strike, and casting it manually.
Games are meant to be played ... an energy system prevents players from continuing to play ... and a microtransaction systems to buy more energy to continue playing is a HUGE turnoff ...

Many many much better idle games out there, that work perfectly fine without limiting players with energy. You say the game would be over in 30 mins without an energy system?? then that's clearly a flaw in your game design ...
Right. Energy system deide gampley to sessions, but remeber you always have a stock - it is best way to multiply your funds and it dont requeire energy!
bs rated 1/5: by making players wait and come back to the game later, the developers are artificially inflating the play count.
Shame on you, greg, for badging this, when there are many many other much more deserving games without badges !!
Noone else seems to have mentioned this yet, but ... to farm for gold faster, find a high level island where you can kill 1-2 waves by spamming all your skills, and if the chest(s) are any more than 2-3 waves away, just exit to map and re-enter. If the chests are at the start, just grab them, spam your skills for quick kills, then exit to map and re-enter. I found this method faster to farm for gold, than actually waiting to lose a level by getting all my vikings killed.
