got the hard badge first play-through. I put the first 20 level-ups into +HP, till 100+ health, then the next 10 level-ups into +Dmg, till 50+ damage. After that, I put the rest into +crit. Using this method, and always exploring every room on every level, didn't encounter anything particularly difficult, and health never dropped below half (always healing to full after every few fights, though).
left it for a few weeks, came back, and my save file's gone ... don't even suggest i'd deleted my cookies or anything silly like that, since I haven't even turned my computer on since the last time i played.
Particularly infuriating since I had made several purchases using kreds on my previous save.
i have played through all the other decision games to completion, and rated those 5/5. But this latest one, after a whole, is still only a 2/3 at best. awkward controls (should be able to move without clicking the mouse, and to shoot at random objects without targeting per see), and over-complicated micro-management of money and resources, which really detracts from the whole game experience.
unity player just updated (again. however, game never loads. I tried another unity game just in case, and the other one worked fine, so it must be a bug with this game. Running on windows 7.
um, found a bug ... I've entered the last town after my inventory is full, wanting to sell everything ... open my char tab in town, and am now stuck ... can't click on any items, and can't change or close tabs ...
erm ... anyone finding that purchasing upgrades doesn't actually do anything? for instance, with paddle width maxed, my paddle is still the exact same size as when i started with ...
needs a warning that failed blacksmithing destroys the item ... just caused me to lose my favorite sword, and won't touch the game again as a result ... rated 1/5 for the lack of tooltips and adequate instructions on game mechanics.
The glitch as explained on Kong forums for instantly gaining ALL badges by losing the tutorial battle still works ... making this the easiest 80 points on Kong. :D
now to go off and actually play the game, without worrying about badges or whatnot.
on second thoughts, frustration isn't worth the quests, even ... keep getting stuck on top of a spider, and the spider is itself stuck trying to get up a hill ...
if not for the badges being part of a quest, I wouldn't go near this piece of rubbish with a 9-foot barge pole ... the lag is incredible ... game-greaker, and the 1/5 rating is quite generous, imho.
okay, working again now.
So with 61 billion PPI, and base stats & no upgrades, right after ascending, 1 scout gives 1.22billion/s, which equals 305million/$spent/s. Compared to 1 dreadnought which gives 590.16quadrilion/s, which equals 856.15billion/$spent/s ... incidentally, in the time it's taken me to type up this comment and plug those numbers into a calculator, my 1 scount + 1 dreadnought has generated a combined income of just over 200 quintillion ...
what utter rubbish ... can't calibrate, and nothing works except the [ & ] keys ... 1/5 until this gets fixed, otherwise it's unplayable, and just a complete waste of time
needs a 20x speed-up button ... ... ... and as others have said, the manual collection makes the game worse than it could be, adding no value to the gameplay experience
