gaah - from being on level 30 and holding 16th place highscore (lots of grinding:P) - the game crashed and now started me over on level one. I guess I am done. If there is an actual ending would someone spoil it for me please.
I have a problem with getting all the stars - seems when you upgrade too much you run the enemies down and it's impossible to get three stars as you don't kill enough of them. Couldn't you possibly change the 3 star achievement to a timed effort instead. If you do it in xx seceonds for instance. Killing x number of enemies for the achievemnt is flawed in a game such as this as it's near impossible to hit the right balance if you've upgraded.
My thoughts: Just as I was getting into the game and understood the functions of the different trap and I thought the "tutorial" was over - the game ended. I never really got a chance to strategize and "build" a great layout. This is a solid start, but it's too short and so is it's scope. Larger levels and upgrades would benefit this greatly in making it into an actual game and not a demo. That said - I like it as a starting point.
super broken... - let me explain. Duck clicking - ok. Upgrade clicking - did not work. upgrade per second - did work. Then there was a weird colour block in the left lower corner. I clicked it and I suddenly got 9 gold per click (according to the game) only I only got one. And I was in the negative hundreds.
Finished, and now i can't get all achievements anymore - I can't replay any levels and "add" to my character. This means that I deliberately have to lose on a bunch of levels to simulate grinding in order to be able to afford stuff. This is rather bad game design. Also - my cursor was white on the ice level so I couldn't see where I was aiming. Again - bad design. Thirdly - I didn't buy the extra rune slot and then it dissappeared from the store :P Fun enough to make me slog through to the end though.
this is more like a demo thanan actual game. Seems like some playtesting would have benefitted this greatly as it's quite lacking in actual gameplay. The basic (and only) mechanic of the game is adjusting torque really. What doesn't work is that it's just way way way too slow and as far as I can tell there is just one course. It gets boring quick as grinding for upgrades just takes too much time with no variation. Loosing all your cash as soon as the car topples over is a bit too harsh imho. Thus you can finish a race and get no money at all.
This is a multiplayer game, but if there isn't any opponent you can go solo. There should be a single player only mode where you could race against the clock for highscore instead. Anyway - basic idea is interesting, implementation is quite dull. Graphics are nice, but not varied enough. There is a lot that needs to be added to make this fun.
This has nothing to do with toys or aliens as far as I can tell other than in the title and description. If this is supposed to be a toy environment it should be more colorful or there should be visual cues that show this is small scale. The aliens are tanks (not really very distinctly alien). All this could be solved by changing the description and the name of the game so that it corresponds better to the expectations ("tank defense").
If this is a first effort or try to make a game, then kudos. Compared to other (established) tower defense games this is not really very enjoyable at all. There is no real incentive to play, the upgrades are drab and so is the gameplay with no real variation. This is a barebones tower defense that lacks most of the features that make tower defense games fun.
After hard reset everything is still buggered. Skills don't work properly when bought (even when bought in order they don't do what they say - it worked on my first go but not anymore). Also they appear checked before I even buy them as I afford them. It's like the hard reset doesn't work properly. This game is interesting, but it has a lot of bugs. It needed a lot more testing or a big "BETA" warning. Let me know when you've made it playable and I'll come back and give it another shot.
Hmm... Now my game is broken (after the save didn't kick in). It looks like I own most of the skills and I still have the objects I found, but there are no "ticks". The workers don't drain oxygen, but they don't produce anything either.
Bugged out when I conquered the second planet and had the higher speed engaged. I couldn't get out of the win screen. Now that I started the game up - my savegame is gone.
@awesome52486 Thanks for replying. That was my initial thought til I paid attention to how big the difference in earnings were. With everything maxed out now it's down to just over 4x the total income. Still it's a bit much in my opinion or at least unbalanced since you get such a huge income advantage from the gun almost immediately and it takes a very long time to catch up with the rest... I'm earning 0.5 qauds/sec from the gun atm (at legendary dealer level). I note this because one can put very little into the dealing part of the game and basically just aim for maxing the gun. It defeats the point of the game imho.
Anyway thanks again.
I don't understand why my concern about auto-shooting not earning money while offline was completely downvoted... I think it's a relevant concern given that the shooting earns significantly more than the rest. At this instance roughly 10x my normal income which are pretty much all maxed.
If the gun wasn't so OP I wouldn't care, but basically the dealing is negligable in comparison and therefor I'd like it if the shooting kept on going offline or at least this was a bit more balanced so it wouldn't make such a huge difference. I don't know if it's a bug on my end and that's why people downvoted it or if I am missing some point, but it's definitely not earning while offline. The help section doesn't mention anything about this so I would like to know.
As far as I can tell there is no offline earnings from automatic shooting and reloading which is by far the biggest source of income for me. It's not really reasonable for an IDLE game to be online 24/7... Please address this.
I don't see any change in profits on any of the "factories" (the upper 5) when getting trophies at 100, 200 etc. It says profit x8 f.e. but it does not change the profit. Am I looking at this wrong?
There was a bug that we fixed after Synx pointed it out. Please refresh your browser and it will be fixed. You wont loose the profits its just the text that doesn't update.
How is this a game? There is no actual goal. The so called gameplay is the same on all levels. The speed and handling changes with the cars, and the graphics changes on levels. That's it. :P
I am having the exact same problem as GarbagePailKid and the game won't generate a save (the code are is blank). So - no ships, none of the unlocks are unlocked (even though I bought them), no upgrades and no enemies. I am not sure which version I played before, but I reached c-19 or something and I have amassed 2441 million currency. Frankly I am not interested in starting over.
There may be logs for webplayer with exception i can fix if i have a chance to send it to me and i can take a look (info about where to find log - in updates tab). --- Other variant for you there is link with save in updates tab you can use, it's a bit further in progress, but you can keep up. Sorry for problems.
This is probably the best idle game I've played. There is just one thing that bugs me :P Whenever I am cosnidering buying anything I don't get the necessary information (new production rate) to easily compare between the bugs. I can usually approximate, but an information blurb popping up when you hover over the buy button would be perfect.
Following info would be useful: 1. Production rate gained from transaction 2. Total meat cost 3. Total larvae cost and if applicable 4. Total sacrifice cost (for instance 10QaDc Hives).
Granted you get 2, 3 and 4 when buying anything under the meat tab if you specify the base amount you want to buy, but it's such a tedious way to do it and the twin multi makes it awkward.
Speaking of the twin multi - I'd much prefer it if the amount you could specify was the eaxact amount you wanted to buy instead of the base amount before the twin multi.
That's pretty much it. Really solid otherwise! Thanks for an awesome game.
