Only thing that truly sucks is the damage from traps. Not gaining anything from experience or having items drop from monsters is lame, but doesn't suck.
Great art with exceptionally frustrating UI. Need hotkeys for selecting towers. Need Shift for placing multiples. (Need sound to pause when game is paused, bugging me right now.) Clicking a pixel off of Upgrade button shouldn't close popup. Perfect wave bonus shouldn't overwrite tooltips. First wave should wait for user to say go so all the towers can be looked at.
Hitting the dictionary help button rules. "Benediction". Yup, I was about to pick that. Anyway, scoring is silly since you get the most points by spelling short words with just one red letter for as long as possible.
Layout changing seems silly since it never matters. And the font for the letters blows. (OADQ are maybe a pixel different) But otherwise it's pretty neat.
Great art, and nice sounds. Would be nice if the towers shot the currently selected bad guy so the splasher don't shoot a single guy. Strong Wealthy Supersplash lvl 5 is awesome.
Love the upgrade system. Except I feel the red spread ship path is gimpy. You fire in every direction, but can't kill anything. So you can't get new blue dots, so when the enemies scale you are screwed.
Very cute art style, sound is good. But green powerup is really bad. Scale of gems is weird too. Felt silly that I was staining to pick up those early 1's when the boss pops in to 100's.
Hmm... you should calc the next wall to handle what is physically possible. A really wide one and then a narrow one when the scroll speed is fast is just impossible since the control speed is fixed.
