Level 7 is driving me nuts. I managed to get 10 pulse lasers down and the missile ships still get through. Regular lasers just get pwned. Too spread out for missiles. Dunno what to do.
Why does every game like this have to start with "Wander bored around a lifeless town for ten minutes"? How about I click to go to a house instead of putzing around.
Awesome with hella cute style. One big problem though is that you are required to shake a ton of trees, and each time you do you end up with more and more framerate-eating apples on the ground. Need to limit how many fall from one tree, or make them expire after time.
Mars in 8. This sequel is way easier I think. Great style. On day 9 I got to 200,000 ft, got bored and let it run. It went for another half an hour. 243 million in 54 minutes.
Very close to being awesome. Cover is weird because even if I am shooting through an inch of trees, if the zombies are standing on a pixel of clear they aren't in cover. It would be interesting if pistols had ammo or something that would make them not just fling bullets at a 100 yds. The fight camera is just broken. Zoom out and stop fiddling.
Very good art style but a bad example of an even worse genre. Without neutral enemy counts in uncaptured cells, even the small amount of strategy of Nano War is removed. The customization of stats is a good idea, except that it isn't until halfway through the game that you are forced to make a choice, and Speed and Agility are useless.
Dood, this series has always had imaginitive puzzles, and then you have "pegs in groups" as a puzzle? Holy miss the whole point of your own game, Batman.
