A clear rip off of DotA (Defense of the Ancients), if you liked this go play League of Legends, it's free and multiplayer and MUCH higher quality. You have skills, more items and really unique heroes.
An excellent and polished game, but could really use a hard mode. 3rd boss died so fast I wasn't sure he was a boss. Also speed upgrades at the end are insignificant increases, maybe the increase should be a % of current speed instead of a flat bonus? And attack is always an obvious first choice. I'd love to see a game with balanced upgrades for different play styles. Ramming SHOULD be a viable option! :D
Seems pretty well made but I got stuck and got tired of pixel hunting. (I'd gotten 2 red circles so far.) Walk through didn't load for me either. Oh well.
You know what's fun, a color based puzzle game. You know whats not fun? I perfect timing demanding platformer. It's too bad you mixed the two together. If you want Color Theory 2 to be about puzzles not hardcore platforming then give a +.
About the physics: when I hugged the ball to hold it then let it go to roll it down slowly and take a skill shot the thing bounced up, a real steel ball would never do that. This tried and true old school tactic should work in the physics of any good pinball game. (right flipper in level 4 at least...)
The firebot code: Contain, Loot, Extinguish, Profit. Also: the three "best" levels can only be played on the parent website. Wish I'd know that before I started.
Tips for noobs:
* You need a base piece for each skill. Base pieces have no holes on the left or top. Don't add speed, it sucks early.
* Increase the feeder size in the status screen of your creature.
* You cannot get more skill tiles, and your creature does not "evolve" like in pokemon. To get better skills breed a new creature.
* Skill selections are permanent.
* Available traits are based on appendages and species. You can level up a trait by spending skill points. Some traits are bad. If you refuse then you simply get nothing.
* Color doesn't matter.
* You can sell stuff in the market.
* You can increase the battle speed under settings. Restart by selecting abdicate.
* Save tokens to buy your 8th stable slot for 200 tokens. You can get some free tokens by registering on the dev's site. Register your email.
Can we please keep our artifacts and stats when we die? I wasn't watching my hp and died while holding three healing potions and now I am on floor 40 with no artifacts or stats and I have to clear data because it's impossible now.
