the lack of an ending doesn't feel good for this game, no real sense of accomplishment without one (also, 4th boss seems to be much easier than 3rd boss for some reason, 3rd boss was harder only because of the bloons that tried to push you around, 4th boss didn't have much to deal with you) :(
The 2 stages I've been on where the game randomly sends you back to the main screen, while still hearing the level you were still on, were stage 5 of world 3 and stage 3 of world 4.
found a bug? glitch? exploit? idk what it would be, but I finished the 3rd boss stage without fighting the boss. Basically, I got to where the boss would normally spawn if I had a bronze trophy, but at the time when it should have spawned, I did not have the trophy. As soon as I eliminated the remaining bloons that spawned, I barely got enough for the trophy. It said I completed the level o.O
same, had a random restart, which prevented me from buying any upgrades. Completed a level, and it reset the amount of blops back to what I had before the level. The restart occurred on level 4 of world 2, I went afk for a good several hours or so (had other things to do), and when I got back on to continue through the level, it restarted, and prevented me from getting upgrades or using my blops in other ways.
have to disagree on the hard badge being changed to impossible. Despite the hard levels (55-59), I was able to do them before the new changes were added (wider road on 55, checkpoints on 57-58). Although im proud of being able to do the levels before the updates, I was still able to do it with just below 700 deaths. Only way I would agree to an impossible badge would be to have a section similar to 57-59, but combining the blue, purple, and yellow magnetizer sections and put that as level 60, and have the cutscene that is level 60 follow after that. (And have level 60 be without checkpoints). Then I would agree to it being changed to impossible badge xP. 5/5 for a great game, hoping for a sequel, if there will be one :D
hmm... didn't think the upgrade system in this game would waste an upgrade. decided to see if it would do that, or deny me (by pressing a on a max out strength upgrade), it did waste it. :(
@gemhead this game, if you were to go to the main site, was intended for facebook. As with social networking sites, energy systems are extremely common, although kongregate is not a social networking site, but rather a gaming site, but with all the members on this site, some developers can mistake Kongregate as a social network as well. I wish though that if this game were to be added here, the objective leveling system should be replaced with an experience leveling system instead, focusing on story battles rather than arena/friendly battles, so that the energy system would seem more fair (that and grinding on ambushes would yield more than money).
ugh. wasd controls makes it easy to perform the ctrl-w shortcut key, which closes the window/tab you are on, in other words, closes this game in the middle of the run. Needs a different button for the boost, like maybe the spacebar ._.
finally finished. 24:38, 229 deaths. Most common death? SPIKES, the two above the word LIFE in level 29 (love life? I can see so many puns from this. lets see... I kept Falling in love with these two spikes. I heard that Love Hurts, but I didn't think it would hurt so much. I kept getting the Kiss of Death from these two, quite literally too.) xD + if you like these, just kept thinking about these and decided to just post it lol
lol, usually its not the complicated stuff that gets us, its usually the simplest. We tend to ignore the simple stuff in favor of avoiding the more complicated ones, only to die to said simple stuff. Those easy-to-die-to spikes in a difficult-to-move level where we focus on the projectiles and succeed at avoiding them, only to die to spikes. Great game, 5/5
Energy Bar won't be removed from the game. The whole game is already done, but we got the beta-version of the game, not the full game at the moment. It's a disappointment, but we have to live with it, whether we like it or not >.<
Only way I see something being done about this is either having a large amount of bug reports go in for this game, or have everyone rate the game down so that Kong sees that an extremely popular game went from a pretty high rating to one of the lowest. Such a drastic change in a short amount of time will show that something is going on and they must do something about it to fix the problem. They will notice something like that, as it says something is wrong with the game, FIX IT!
