Could be turned into a nice puzzler but as it is, its pretty bad. Physics don't seem real, ball sometimes goes through the blocks, difficult controls. Not much going for it. We should be able to click on the block we want and drag it into place. Different hotspots on the blocks should allow us to rotate them. No using keys for it.
It was pretty enjoyable. Nice artwork and music. Two suggestions, increase the contrast of the text on the background, and try and keep the buttons in roughly the same place.
Great to see that you've taken note of comments. Not enough people do that. This is a great game. Are there any hidden secrets?? Would be great to see some. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Such an addcting game would need many more levels to keep people satisfied though. Very well done 5/5. I'm preempting the finished piece.
Another feeling the nausea. What's that about? I don't suffer motion sickness or anything but this makes me feel ill. The game feels quite creepy, but is a little difficult to control. If you're going to keep the same method of opening doors could we have doorknobs on the Pull side and just panels on the Push side. Some confusion was had.
Some sort of map would be nice. Hotels (It looks like a Hotel) have floorplans on the back of room doors in case of fire so maybe we could take one! Also I saw the hint about turning on lights but I didnt manage to do it. A nice start like to see where it goes.
An dI've just finished it. More holes, a full 18 please and some sort of menu which gives new courses, maybeallowing you to play at different times of day, different weather and such.
I agree with Jahikoi about the putting. That tiny put is annoying. It should just not go where you expect, or change it so the power guage keeps going back and forth until to hit. Also there doesn't seem to be enough friction. It is grass we're playing on? Maybe you could have different playing surfaces. (Btw some of the holes are frustrating, the par needs increasing.) FInally for now. Why won't the damn camera stay where I put it? That's my biggest issue. Quite nicely done though. Would like to improvements and see where it goes.
Really nice start, but I agree with blake, it is tough. At first just getting on the table is hard enough. How about increasing the hit area? Maybe having to get 4 ants on the table instead of having to hit the items themselves. Throw in having to fly around hills and you've made the game frustrating (level 1-2) Also I don't like having to think about switching power-ups, so when I've used the first once make it disappear and get replaced by the second. Then we only have to worry about WSAD and SPACE, unless you give primary and secondary seperate hot keys. Would be nice to see collectables, upgrades, secret targets and things. Added to favs so I can see how you progress with it.
Maybe you could show a trace of your last shot? All in all its quite good. look forward to improvements.
Very nice , but there's still a few problems to sort out. The wandering camera is really annoying, I'm trying to do something and then suddenly its off (I lost a couple of big planets this way.) Also, when returning to Solar System view, please take me back to my previous viewing position. There are some problems with controlling and the display, the stats at the end seem to be over laid one another, but those are just things that need tweaking. Overall, its very good. can't wait to see the finished article.
Nice start but I would like to see improvements. The hit area is a bit small, a real shotgun blast spreads and I think increasing the blast radius would improve gameplay. Also, the reload is a little frustrating, try reducing the time a bit.
Other than that its quite nicely done. Would be good to see additions, such as different birds so there could be a list you have to pick off. How about adding other animals and letting us roam about?
Nicely put together and navigation is easy (this is where a lot of escape games fall down.) Would have liked it to be longer and a bit more difficult though.
It would actually be quite enjoyable if you could sort out the lag, though it doesn't seem very well balanced; a bit too easy. It regards to the lag issue, are you using lots of jpeg images? That could be the cause. Try swapping jpegs/gifs for vector graphics. Flash will trace them for you. If it's still slow, its probably some scripting issue. Promising start though.
EDIT: Towers are available, they are just much more expensive than the arrow tower, ARROW (50), GUN (500), CANNON (1000). We also need a range indicator, and the kill count doesn't work. How about giving the towers XP?
You seem to have a pretty solid start. I was waiting for someone to create a Unity TD so would be interesting to see where this goes. I have some observations though ( I know it's Beta ) 1.) Only the arrow tower seems to be available. 2.) Would like to be able to see the cost of the towers even if they aren't available. 3.) WSAD or ARROWS to scroll/zoom view. 4.) Some creeps just headed in a straight line. 5.) Different creeps with different abilities. 6.) Powers such as meteor strikes etc. would be good. 7.) Upgrade trees for different abilities/towers. 8.) Really nice lighting! (None of the unity games I've seen have this. Can Unity handle it?) Nice start though.
This is actually okay, but needs some improvement. I like the music btw but would like a few more tracks, that one gets a bit much after the 5th or 6th time.
Some people have complained about the controls, I don't think they are all that bad. Remember that online games like this should allow you to just jump in and play, so although more advanced control options would be nice, people would also like a basic version. I have a few more suggestions though 1.) I don't like having to 'pay' for missions when those points could be spent on other things such as missiles! 2.) Flight sims shouldn't have distance limitations like this. I'd like to be able to roam. 3.) Performance was fine until I got on a level which was over the ocean and then there was really bad drag. Can we turn off reflections? A nice start though, keep at it. It's good that you're actually taking notice of comets.
Really enjoyable. I appreciate its unfinished, but have some suggestions. 1.) How about being able to move vertically by a small amount. 2.) All the graphics should be in the same style. Feel as though they've just been pulled from random places and they don't really fit together. 3. ) Would like to be able to take two different weapons with me. 4.) Map is very confusing, need level numbers of display. 5.) Should be more difficult. Maybe more different objectives? 6.) Weapon select screen should show all weapons at once with a brief description. 7.) What about purchasable upgrades?
Just a few suggestions. Its very good though, keep working on it. Would be great to have better sounds and graphics, and maybe cool lighting effects.
I'll rate it when you're finished.
Sorry to say but this is really unbalanced. Upgrades are far too expensive considering how long it takes to build up a decent amount of money. And we should start with a decent amount of health so you can take a few hits. As other say, slow it down and make it easier to make money. Pay attention to comments and keep tweaking it.
