"If you drag an equipped item over another item, it replaces it the slot with that item even if that item isn't the right type."
I am now running around covered in fish.
And when that happens, it doesn't even REGISTER my results. It won't save my high score. The one I can calculate by knowing how I performed, even though it doesn't show it to me.
Space is the button I have to hold down to engage in Hostile Arena. Space is also what makes my results go away as soon as the round is over. Want to guess how often I'm able to actually see my results?
All the missions and challenges play fine except for Hostile Arena, which suffers TERRIBLE lag. As soon as a third hostile come out, it leaves me out of cover, unable to aim or fire,
I was all stressed out about the sniper challenge because of these comments. I got it on my fifth try, and I'm nothing special. Don't get psyched out; you CAN do it. You DO need to aim before your sight is up; as soon as you fire, pick your next target and move the mouse to it. I wasn't able to re-pick my targets based on the wind; I just had to compensate. And don't zoom in, it takes too long.
The randomness needs to be scaled back. I just went from game start all the way to my first shipment being due without a *single* opium trade offer. The game before that, my ship kept getting seized because the only offers were from the same port over and over.
This is a fun little game! It is indeed a bit repetitive and can seem overly automated, but that's where the strategy comes in. It would be nice if we could up the difficulty or something, or the enemies would use different attack tactics, though. (Actually, the latter could be happening already; I'm never looking at my troops, just the equipment drop zone.)
@grimo1re Talents do matter. I was stuck on a level (4-3 or 4-4 maybe?) for a while until I shifted my talents around, then I wiped it easily. Now, it's possible the tree I was experimenting with at the time is just inferior to the others, but that's a different matter.
I don't like the "leaps of faith," where we have to fall off the edge of the screen. We should be able to see the whole board to see where we're going.
+1 for "point-and-click, not drag-and-drop," +1 for "hotkey to select all," +1 for "level 14 is stupid, the enemy instantly becomes an army of howitzers"
REALLY frustrating when they try to think for themselves. There needs to be some consistency other than defaulting to colonization. When I tell them to attack, they should continue to attack until there are no more enemies. They shouldn't get distracted trying to colonize while they're getting their asses shot off.
Bug (or very, very weird boss power): Why does using Disarm on the big demonic boss guy make his status go from, "Strengthened, Strengthened," to "Strengthened, Strengthened, Strengthened?" Shouldn't it REMOVE the Strength?
