it sucks when a game which purpose is to be annoying gets badges. what kind of message does that send? no matter what kind of crap Armor Games shoves out, Kongregate embraces it with badges and front page.
you don't really need the speed-up button, just use the area burst weapons and you can send everything at once. I've killed +50 waves at once with burst+slow+range bonus towers.
like, you really can't wait a few mins just to load this? it's a rather big game to be available on flash. if you can't wait a few minutes for a good game, I don't know what...
the impossible badge is more of an endurance rather than a challenge badge. all you need is to master juggling waves and then use simple strategy for killing waves, like a area damaging tower + slow tower + range tower, which along with juggling will be able to dispatch any and any amount of waves at the same time. this strategy will work 90% of the maps
getting the card is rather easy if you get some achievements down and figure out the perfect landing; you are supposed to land with the front car on the edge, just barely enough to make it.
some tips; rarely build ghost towers when in crisis (and upgrade even less), as it's far feasible to get a sniper tower instead. building multiple bonus towers around a good weapon is far better than upgrading these bonus towers. (there's a glitch with the fire rate tower, you can sell it and place it again while the weapon gets faster) and also - in some cases it's better to have 100 weak towers than 5 good ones.
I like this game quite a lot, as it's cleverly made and has a innovative "combine towers" feature.
in every other aspect it's pretty average to good, but the "combine" thing is something to look forward to.
amazing game, especially love the music and atmosphere. for all having trouble with Battle Mode: it is doable. go to the forums for a guide on how to achieve it. good luck!
bah, got only hit once and when I had a shield. >_< and by the way, the death achievements sucked in Amorphous+, they also suck here. why do I need to die X times when I actually have beaten every nest so far with full or nearly full HP?
good strategy; get ranged heroes (mage,popo,cassandra) get Sky Dragon, Forest Hunter, Elf Sniper, Succubus, Guardians, Lord of Flame/Angel. take Meteor and Shield skill as well. challenge 1 goblins; use meteors and sky dragon, along with ranged units. 2 bomb; focus on the castle. if the bomb explodes, use shield. challenge 3; send all your units and Titans with full mana, use shield skill until Baal dies. challenge 4: same like Baal, keep your units shielded.
a good choice of skills to beat the hard/epic levels is the Shield skill, which makes your units invulnerable for a given time. you can basically wait on your ass and spawn all the troops and 400 mana, and then attack and destroy the enemy castle without any harm done to you.
more in-depth help; use 2 of the starting heroes constantly (fire/energy) and get a third one of different element which has a basic range/mage unit. (I went for poison thief/augmented) repeat the first 2-3 missions 5-10 times so you have a good advantage. put some points into wisdom and everything else into range/magic damage. use items that change element rather than getting a lot of heroes. Jonas Expedition usually finds crappy items, so don't expect much of him. when units level up, buff crossbowmen's slow (ankle shot) and the mage's debuff; these two skills are amazing for killing. make other units more focused on damage. don't count on Melee units much. save consumables for big missions. (over 20 waves) this setup should make you slide through the game without losses. if the mission has many different enemies (different elements) just look for what element has the least "strong" coverage and use it. hope it helps.
