On a related discussion, does anybody know what the point is when speed is capped? I have not been able to find a good measurement of where the speed benefit drops.
290,350. Key is to save your boosters until after your main fuel is empty and then just do small bursts to keep yourself going up. when you get fuel or hit a speed gate don't touch the boosters until you start to slow down to where the coins outrun you, then small pulses again. At that height you outrun the clouds when you fall...OUCH!
Let me start by saying I LOVED Lucky Tower. The humor, the gameplay...the SLASHY SLASHY....it was a work of art and perfection. However, and I really hate to say this, I do not like this one. The humor is still there so you get points for that. But the various gameplay...it does not work in my mind. It is too complex. Blocking, counting teeth...enemies that attack with different moved...even stats are items I never wanted to see in a Lucky Tower game. I love the series but I feel this was just a miss.
So this guy is pretty smart. I mean he can swap engines, hook up auto-fire guns, and even retrofit the cars to withstand the forces of a jet engine..that he manages to start up and use. So we know he knows his way around both cars and has at least a basic understanding of flight. So why does he not build wings for these cars and just glide over the zombies?
How can you not like Drones? Sure they take a bit more attention but they are the best bang for the energy packet in the game. The value increases when you jump to survival and need some breathing room on a weak area of your defense. Fly over 7 drones and you will get a window to rebuild...at least until you get over 300 emitters...then things get difficult :)
I have an unhealthy obsession with creating a stable network that can suppress creepers at high emitter counts, then sabotaging the network and watching it slowly fail.
Perhaps if you want me to save your 10....assorted daughters it would be helpful if you DIDN'T FILL THE TOWER WITH LAVA AFTER I START CLIMBING!!! - The Union
Wow, the physics on this are way off. Have you tried going with the Unreal engine? I think it would really improve the overall feel of the game. Higher levels are very unbalanced, forcing you to grind over and over in newbie spots to eventually compete. The random drop system is all but useless, and I have yet found a reason to use anything but the starting gear. Overall your use of graphics is stunning however, as is the story line. That twist at the end...WOW. Not a dry eye on my end and it so sets you up for the next game.
My team is currently working hard on the sequel. We are having some troubles with data corruption here and there, but other than that, we are making a lot of progress. The game should be up for an open alpha test sometime around December 2013.
I feel bad for the giant sea snake...he looks so happy right when he is about to eat me and then I punch him in the neck. Poor little guy, he just was being friendly..
