If I was in charge I would have torn down every building in the city and just used the scrap to make that high level weapon, or as I like to call it the "Aim in one place and walk around because nothing is surviving" gun. Bit of a long name but it works...
Fun game but the difficulty ramps up a bit quickly at the later levels. Not a huge issue but it surprised me. Reminds me of the Insane AI game. Very well done!
Wait!! Did Zombies take his daughter AGAIN?!?!? I love this game. We spent all afternoon playing and seeing what songs killed me the fastest. Other song formats would be nice but other than that I think it is perfect.
I am not sure what I just played, or why I played it to the very end.....The last race was a killer and involved alot of stabbing, biting, kicking, and tricking the judges.
I am hoping this one goes Mobile. The game play just feels like a perfect fit for a touch screen tablet. Phone may be a bit too small but I would still enjoy it. Overall I really liked this. My only complaint is that there is a random nature to this game that, at times, feels like it is making the strategy part fade away. While randomness is usually a central part of Nerdook games I am finding it takes a bit away from the game play for me in this situation, as well as the last musical game. It is still very fun to play and well worth 5 stars even with the minor flaws.
So we have a madman rampaging through the city on a pogo stick and the police decide that the best solution is to deploy a bomber?? Who is running this city, Umbrella Corp??
There is some really interesting game play mechanics here that I do not think I have really grasped yet. I find myself pressing the random button every time and then standing on top of the ghosts until I win.
I think a slightly more in-depth tutorial, or extended instruction area, would really benefit the game for people like me.
It is very unique and well done. I just find the details a bit confusing, having just started the game.
What this game needs is: 1- The ability to substitute units without additional cost. If we could bank some, or get a refund when swapping it would allow more strategy in selection and deployment. 2 - Infinite play mode. I really want to be able to take my army to random planets or play against posted rogue armies over and over once I get a good setup. An Infinite play mode would go a long way to improve the replay value of the game.
Well, it is not your average Nerdook game. At first I was not enjoying it that much but as you play and get the hang of the strategies things start to click in a good way. It is different, but in a good way. This is going to be the type of game I sneak playing at work when nobody is looking.
