I would love to see a way to upgrade Slo-Mo mode, even if it is limited to just the endless gameplay. It would be a nice treat for people who like to grind after the game is done.
Health minions seem a bit overpowered for the price, leading me to only have them in endless mode. Minion upgrades would be a great way to balance it and add replay tot he game. Shockers get chain lightning, missiles get more launches and fun stuff like that. It is a really fun game overall, I like that I can replay lower levels and get more coins before fighting bosses.
I want to like this game. Just like I wanted to like "The Company of Myself". I like the story alot but the game play gets me every time. There are some mechanics on the various puzzles that just drive me to the point of surrender. It may be the learning curve is steeper than I like, or perhaps the unique challenges just do not appeal to me. In the end I find myself leaving the game and never having the desire to play again. Honestly I am not sure....I like other puzzle type games, this series just does not appeal to me for some reason.
Bill the Gummy: "Thank the candy maker! The monster is gone! We can start to rebuild our society!" Bob the Gummy: "Hey Bill!! I got his wallet!!!" Bill the Gummy: *Facepalm* "Bob....were full of coins...."
I appreciate the thought behind this but it really is not a game. Even more important is that the bills are DOA if they come out of committee. We won this round already...this type of activism would be much better placed as a statement against ACTA, with a more game-like interface to draw people into learning about it.
This is less about SOPA and PIPA and more about one persons fear of the slippery slope that is the loss of our rights to government control. I am surprised the author makes no mention of ACTA, an international trade agreement with much farther reaching implications then SOPA or PIPA. It got all but lost in the hype.
That is the beauty of this game. This is actually what games would have to look like in order to comply with SOPA.
There is some irony...the website for Congressman Smith, who proposed the bill, would be in violation of his own bill due to the background image. At least Congress is backing off on the bill.
To use the Heli-T you have to land it, then switch to the unit you want to transport. Walk in front of the Heli-T and it should change to a green target. Click on the transport and your unit will be loaded. Press the Drop button at the top of the screen to eject the unit, this can be done from any height. Remember the Heli-T has no stealth but some good armor at higher levels so you will take a good amount of fire dropping off the unit. I find it is best to evac the Heli-t as soon as you make the drop so you can focus on the dropped unit rather than leaving them stranded while you move the transport to safety. There are very few times I actually use the T...it is easier to work with a Spy/Commando/Fire Bomber unit combo to clear the ground, then a Heli-G or Heli-R for final clearing/star collection.
I was going to complain about the lack of underground structures....then I got to the Volcano level. What a pain of a mission....but so much fun to try and win.
I kind of miss being able to drop bombs with my spy. There was something special about sneaking up behind an enemy and putting a bomb on their back, then watching the entire building fall on him. The Bomber just does not have the same feel. Still love this game and the entire series :)
