What does looking at ptd.com have to do with anything? This game was made by Sam and Dave. If thietface has permission to post it here, that's one thing, but I highly doubt it. Besides which, Kong has deleted it every time it's been loaded to the site, but I'm not sure why. It's a fun game, but you get more out of it playing it at Sam and Dave's site. You get a mystery code to enter in and they're working on PTD2!
I just uploaded a new fix.. was on vacation and my laptop wasn't able to publish a proper swf file for some reason. You may need to clear your browser's cache. The new version is 1.0.9, which you can verify on the information page (the "i" button on the splash screen)
Add me to the "destructible towers are AWFUL" crowd. Not rating because I just won't play it. Lose the tower thing and you'll get a lot more folks interested.
Sorry, but I have to agree with Tolrick. Come up with your own images, a basic storyline, and a tutorial and you'll have a good start. Don't steal other people's pics, whether "everyone does it" or not.
When upgrading to a Lightbringer or the Aries, if you have level V+ Novas, it always seems to take those before anything else. I keep at least three on hand at all times now!
You can direct those four friends to other sites that have the game. Uploading games as a dev that you don't have distribution rights to is a violation of the Kong rules. You would know that if you had read them before you posted a game that is not yours.
Add me to the list of those saying this is the worst of the series. Not at all intuitive, no "story", and my favorite demon has no snarky dialogue! WTH?
I'm glad it works on your PC, dev. It seems you're the only one. Instead of saying "it works on mine!!!", why don't you, as a developer, try and figure out why it's not working for others. It's kind of, you know, in the job description.
Cute, cute game! Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles, the graphics and the music! Only had two issues. On the one where you cut down the tree to go across the little ravine and then push the boulder down the hill, there were some bad pathing issues. Could NOT get him to do what I wanted! And on the final level, I would target the item you were supposed to, but kept hitting the bottom target on the big guy instead. Tried to keep it somewhat spoiler free. Keep up the good work!
