This game looks really well done, but it is so small in the Kongregate window that I really can't play it---everything is too small. I'll go to your site to play it. :)

Kazastankas is right--- you only have to lose any lives on 1-3, 1-4, and 3-3. The rest you can manage without losing a life. (Although I cannot personally do 2-2, I did get the badge.)

Needs some badges! I'd recommend an impossible one, too---complete all quests! (Might be actually impossible to turn in both end quests with Alliance & Shadowrunners, though.)

A few problems... 1. The art is too small to really see easily here on Kong. 2. The 'connect' feature can't seem to handle more than two bends in a curve --- so if you've tunneled out a strange path, you are out of luck. 3. I lost the game inexplicably even though I have plenty of cards left to connect...not sure why!

THE GOOD: 1. Big enough to be a decent flash RPG. 2. Leveling is balanced, and always gives progression. 3. Monsters are just challenging enough. THE BAD: 1. Please select music that is better, and lasts longer that 5 seconds before the loop. Also, make the music loop more smoothly. 2. Make it longer next time? :) OVERALL: Great job; I look forward to seeing your next game. A sequel would be nice!

Walkthrough for badge: 1. Start game in empty field if possible. 2. Spread your squad out over the bottom of the field. STAY PUT. 3. Buy a cannon. (Yes, wait for that long. Your original soldiers are better than they look. If you really have trouble with it, get a jeep first, then buy cannons.) Keep ALL units as close to the back as you can. 4. Get a few of the air dropped supplies, but get ready for a reset if you get too many soldiers. Cannons (top-left button) are the key to this badge! 5. Only buy cannons. 6. Keep track of how many units total you have ever controlled; if it's more than 11 you will lose. Sadly the game doesn't keep track of pre-50 or post-50 from my experience. If this helps you please copy & paste it!

Calyad's Strategy Guide: 1. Save up: Buy a jeep. 2. Buy an engineer. 3. Build two trenches, side by side, middle of the field. Put everyone in it (you will get soldiers from touching crates with yer jeeps; stick em in here too). 4. Save up: buy a second jeep. 5. Save up: buy AAA cannon. 6. Save up: buy a second AAA cannon. 7. Die, but get yer badge.

I can't identify, much less discern how to interact with, any of the terrain features---the Germans walk right through boulders that I can't see through. The bunker does nothing vs. air attacks, unless there is a secret way of using it besides just having soldiers walk onto it. A decent tutorial can't be too hard for the CREATOR of the game to make. Do it! Heck, do a walkthrough! You will certainly get fewer angry / disparaging comments.

No tutorial, for a game with zero explanation, VERY slow progression? A poor mix! This is a very fun *concept* that has not been executed well. I have no idea how I am expected to earn "points", for example, on the "ops" screen. I have no idea how comparatively powerful any unit is to any other unless I buy it, and even then it is VERY random. I can't even guess at how to use bunkers or trenches properly since they can be built ATOP each other. Without a tutorial, and with slow progression, I can't tell how to play unless I devote hours upon hours. This is torturing your players---figuring out how to play the game is not the main idea behind a RTS game. I'm sorry to say it, and I am sorry it sounds harsh, but you have to change one of those factors or it is unbearable for a new player.

THE GOOD: 1. A strategy game that is a little hard, nice! 2. Nice music for the "prologue"! 3. Solid and simple gameplay; very fun! 4. Man oh man SECRETS! Yay! The game has secrets that make completionists like me happy! Although, you ought to make there be more clues regarding their solution. THE BAD: 1. I dislike getting the jump on my opponent because I have to get annoyed and say I want to attack. Attack should be default even when getting the jump on an opponent. 2. The music can get a bit repetitive; playing through the first one with identical battle music was unpleasant. Change it up a little, or give the player some choices. OVERALL: Nice game; solid stuff. I do hate that thing about the "Free Move." But since that's my biggest complaint, good work!

Fighting 5 enemies a day just can't possibly get you off the island. Some days its 5 enemies, some days it's 40. It's random, and about as fun as President Madagascar. I wish I could 0-star games that make skill useless unless you're lucky. Skill games should be rewarded when skill is employed. I have played day 1 many times; and I get anywhere from 2400 to 1200 regardless of my speed with the nail, consecutive hits with the nail, or any other factor. I hate to say this because the developers were obviously talented and had a good game here, but making a badge that is more about luck leaves the game with a bad taste in your mouth.

The good: Defend Your Castle, only now finite, and with different weapons! The Bad: With badges that require a time constraint (11 days), having a 100% margin of difference with the amount of possible money to be made in a day, I am more than a little annoyed. Games of skill are fun when they are predictable. When games of skill become ALSO games of chance, they become horrible. Even the best skill isn't rewarded like a "lucky" person, and thus it isn't fun.

The Good: 1. It's big. There's a lot to do, plenty of leveling, and lots of playstyles. The Bad: 1. Play control is very hard. Sometimes my obscenely good crossbow, for instance, just disappears, and I am fighting unarmed. 2. No sound control. This is huge. The game gets a lower ranking just for that; I can't play and watch online video at the same time. 3. The forge doesn't work very well. Additionally, I should be able to pay significantly more money but have the % chance of success be higher. Overall, you can tell a LOT of work went into this game. However, it does feel...awkward to play.

Walkthrough! Part 1/3 (Thanks to someone earlier who got me started on the right path, whose name escapes me.) Don't worry about days, just buy the next step whenever you have money enough to do so. Hints are at the end. STEP 1: Buy one gunman. (Just one.) STEP 2: Buy a combat shotgun for $2k. It will be your friend until about day 30, when you get an orbital laser. STEP 3: Buy a quake machine, stick it in the top slot. Never upgrade it, you will sell it later. STEP 4: Buy a repairman. STEP 5: Buy a missile launcher, put it in the middle slot. This tower will be here forever.

Walkthrough! Part 2/3 STEP 6: Upgrade the number of missiles a few times, until it would cost less to buy a laser tower. STEP 7: Buy a laser tower. STEP 8: Upgrade missile # to max. STEP 9: Alternate upgrades for rate of fire between missile tower and laser tower until they are maxed. (Maxed speed laser is amazing!) STEP 10: Sell the top quake tower and buy a laser tower. STEP 11: Max out rate of fire for all towers. Speed trumps damage. STEP 10: Max out damage for all towers. STEP 12: Getcherself an orbital laser and a quake gun for the trucks. STEP 13: Upgrade all guns to max, while accumulating repairmen. STEP 14: Victory!

Walkthrough: Part 3/3 Hints: You will always get hit by the dive bomber, and never be able to kill it. The first time you see him, make sure you have 10 repairmen by the next day. Throughout the game, buy walls when they are easily within your budget (like, where the next upgrade costs about the same as a wall upgrade). The quake gun is good for the suicide trucks; the quake gun hits everything on the screen so you don't have to aim it. Also, make sure you take out tanks and the huge guys with the orbital laser so your laser towers can aim at the flying things. Once I realized the power of area-effect weapons in this game, and the max-speed laser tower, I got the hard badge. Bump if this helps!

Also, if my disease is waterborne and resistant to moisture, why don't floods carry me accross borders? Or insects & rodents? Come on, there is a way in if you're that infective.

The realism of this game suffers greatly because a symptom-less, benign bacteria or virus would not shut down international borders. For instance, do you know about the bacteria you have in your intestines? Benign. Symptomless. And worldwide. Nobody is shutting down borders because of it.
