My main complaint is the whole concept of the game---I had no idea HOW to "fish" these squiggly line things. By the time I figured it out the game was over. I had no idea what an "in tact" fish looked like --- what was I even aiming at?
You needed an example or SOMEthing to make this more playable. But great atmosphere, music, play control, &c. Just...oy. Understanding the gameplay in general was pretty awful.
Yeah...3/5 because I can't press ESC easily on this keyboard.
Don't force your player to use a button they might not be able to use!
I'll give it 5/5 if it could change the key mapping.
My escape key on my keyboard is this horrible recessed thing.
Although it was a really cool idea to press escape, I would definitely want a way to change the control to say, the space bar, or ANY key.
It has a great concept, but the play control is truly horrid. I can't look around while I am driving? I have no sense of how large my vehicle is, even after an hour of playing. I can't hit things I want to, and I can't avoid things I want to.
I completed the game and got 3 of the 4 badges without ever firing the shoulder weapons...because I never knew how! What button(s) do you press to use them?
I haven't been able to log in for days now. Yes, Pandora is my server. Is this just me, or is everyone on Pandora out for days at a time?
That does rather "cinch" it for me though. I wouldn't have spent money on a game that was so obviously after it from the beginning. But this? I wouldn't be able to even pretend to enjoy it.
While this is a great game, losing a connection at any given moment (and then booting me) RIGHT AFTER finishing the mines run #2 is very, very annoying.
I'm reducing my rating until that nonsense is fixed.
1/5. The first wasn't fun, and neither was this, because it's obvious where you need to be, and have to grind to get it. Grinding is only fun when it's visually worth it.
I had the same problem Blacksides did...I couldn't select choices as I played. That knocked it from 5 stars to 3 for me.
Also...the music could have been better, I think.
