You know.... You could just wait til you've got 400,000 tangerines and THEN click the mutant, and buy a heroic tangerine before they get out of hand. If you do that early enough, they never get past a spawn rate of 1 per second.
Just dreadful. I can't make a profit or hire any soldiers because I keep getting attacked, and losing all my cargo, even going to low crime areas, and the enforcers are searching my nonexistent cargo and finding illegal goods!
So, I got 23 on my first attempt..... and then I come to the comments and find out you can JUMP! Replay value just by not reading instructions! Wooooo!
Being hard doesn't make it good. I WANT to like this game, but it just isn't doing it for me, since my computer with its 8 gigs of decent speed ram and its dual core 2.2 ghz processor is somehow not adequate to let my stellar rhythm match up with the game's....
WAY too much running around with no clues as to what I'm supposed to find, and that cube thing was absolutely DREADFUL. The orientation of the scale model should at least match the rooms, and the colors need to be more contrasting, if you even keep that mess at all....
So, I found the quality settings.... left click. Should REALLY make that a button, but given the shoddy response to the previous game's issues, I doubt you will....
So, how many thousands of kids did it take before the neighborhood parents realized they were all just funneling into my house and disappearing forever? The world may never know...
So, it's a great concept, but the controls need some work for sure. The BIGGEST issue I have is that fall speed is entirely too fast to require that space be hit while in the water to produce a power's effect, rather than being able to hold space to trigger the power on impact, because frankly, level 5 was a complete pain on the ascent, and it made me not want to find out what the other levels had in store. With a game like this, it's important to remember that good games can be hard, and hard games can be good, but not all good games are hard, and not all hard games are good, and arbitrary difficulties like the obscene amount of good timing required to make a single jump, whose failure results in restarting the entire level... it's kind of a deal breaker, especially when the controls are already unresponsive. One other thing... the bottomless pits look an awful lot like the ground. Please fix that. Make it not the color of the ground, or make it look like spikes instead...
