Sorry, according to the description I guess there are upgrades and alternate bots and such. If I could just maintain the attention span to get through the first cave I tried... pretty well done overall though, so worth a 3/5.
Don't really care how big the company is. Demo gets 1/5. Especially since it won't load from Kongregate, it's actually loading from interstellarmarines.com (I know this because my NoScript has it blocked and isn't loading the game at all). Let me know when it actually gets posted on Kong, until then it's a 1/5 blank screen to me.
This game is horrific, how the hell did it get badges? Games should be fun, this is the anti-thesis of fun. Anti-fun. A lot of people like it, though I can't imagine why. Nothing but random button mashing and prayer. Would like at least a *little* control. Since apparently it's just not "my kinda game" I won't give it a 1/5. It's obvious the creators put some work into it. I can't give it a 3/5 or higher though, sorry. Just can't see the fun in it.
Like Cyclomaniacs (or any of the other games that came before it) except with fewer options. If this is someone's first Flash game, then very good job, keep it up, neat concept to apply to the genre. Maybe work out a part 2 with more options and interesting items to run into. Gameplay is fine. 3/5
And remember, there was an older game like this before Scorched Earth... can't remember the name of it though. If you really look at it, 99% of the games out there are "clones" of something older. The question is how well they are implemented. This one seems alright so far.
I made the horrific mistake of playing this game after after a few drinks. Not "drunk" quite yet, but the alcohol in my belly is not playing nicely with the vertigo this game is giving me. Still, it's smooth, seems alright from what little I could stand to play, heh. 4/5
Yes, I'm going to downrate because it's a demo. Above the Kongregate logo it states, "34,254 online playing 37,933 free games!" not 37,900 free games and 33 demos. It's not free if it's a crippled demo. Wanna advertise? Advertise via the banner ads. If you want to make money on this site, go with the Tip process. If you don't like it, don't post it here. Kongregate had better get a portion of the proceeds from every sale of a full version. Maybe Kong should have a section dedicated to demos/shareware likes this, but they should never be badged or advertised on the front page, or have their own front page. Hell, maybe I'd visit once in a while and even occasionally buy a game.
PLEASE people, please rate the game LOW due to the bugs. Seriously, I don't care how good a game is if it's too buggy to play fully, it's not worth a high rating.
Biggest problem with the bugs in games like this is is that I highly doubt ArmorGames is paying any attention to these "bug reports". Even if it gets fixed, the chances of the new version being posted on Kong are slim.
Very nice, I like it. Could use a few things: more ... I dunno, items. Both good and bad. More variety. But above all, something to give you more fuel would be awesome. (although then you'd have to extend the distances required for each level a bit). And what the hell are the top two Best comments talking about?! "the plan backwards"?! What plan?
It's like Plants Vs. Zombies with a fantasy theme. Not a bad thing, I love that game, and I'm so far enjoying this one. Could use some things like a sell/move/remove feature, in case you put a unit in the wrong spot. A radius targeting feature for the meteor would be cool, so we know exactly what the damage radius is. Upgradeable units or add-ons for the units would be pretty cool too.
