Huh, forgot to review/vote this game before. Random button smashing gives it a +1. So... 2/5 is better than 1/5, right? I guess it's not that bad, just really, really frustrating on the lava level. I quit on it after the game first came out and just tried again in hopes of getting the badges... it's just not worth the frustration. It's moderately entertaining up until then, so I guess it's worth 3/5.
Yet another good game by jmtb02. I only had a couple of issues: not enough levels and the Flow wasn't really used as often as it could. But I've come to get used to jmtb02 games being fairly short, but good. Fun mini-games, basically. :)
You can download it and put it up on your OWN site, perhaps (although I'm trying to find where it says that on their site). But this isn't your site. Since you can receive monetary gain from posting games here (via kreds), you are making money from someone else's work. It was originally posted on MaxGames and is made by louissi. I'm contacting them to see what they say about it.
I was fully prepared to give it a 4/5 or maybe 5/5... then something went wrong. I don't even know what, all I know is the Restart button started blinking and there's nothing I can do. Since I don't know what I did wrong, I don't know how to not do it again. And I've been playing this round for about 30 minutes. Thanks for the waste of time. Next time maybe some autosave points? 2/5
I liked the first one and this one is a step or two better, at least looks nicer. It's simple to learn and get into. Easy to understand and play. Gameplay is good, but it would be nice if there were some sort of challenges as the level goes on. I know I started with easy, but nothing really changed from the first map to the Foozle. Aside from the looks of the castles, but otherwise, nothing new each level. I'll go try the medium next, but... more variety would be cool. 4/5
Needs so much work. Not even sure where to start. Some issues are covered by others. Tower prices should be available when you mouse over them even if you don't have the money for them. There should be more than 3 towers, if for no other reason than some variety. It would be nice if there were some in-game info on the upgrades both before you have the money to upgrade, and after you've upgraded. The only time there's any info is when you have money for the upgrade. Some annoying little details I suppose, but not original enough to be worth overlooking such details. Otherwise, most of the other issues have been covered, it's a fair basic starter TD, I hope you work on polishing it and we'll see how #2 is. 2/5
Not bad, needs some balancing though. Could also use some in-game mouse-over details on things, it would be nice to know what each weapon and upgrade does. I still have no idea what unlocks the weapons. One minute 3 of the 4 were locked, the next they were all unlocked. Not sure exactly what I did to unlock them. Just could use some more transparency. Nice design and has potential. 3/5
Meh, got the challenge, the fun ends right about there. The physics are too loose, one tiny twitch while drawing the line and the rollercoaster will go flying. The items get placed in rather odd places compared to where I think they will, and then they're immovable. If you could place them, then move them around, that would be a lot better.
Fun, but a little buggy. I do appreciate the attempt to create and forward a decent storyline (and general success there). The XP/stats elements could've been explored a little more I think. Maybe let us choose the stats that get boosted using skill points or such. I agree with DeletingMachine about the mouse aiming, that would definitely be nice. While I appreciate the nostalgia, it's like creating a FPS where you can't jump or aim up or down (a la original Wolfenstein). If you did that now it'd be rather laughable. Otherwise, the storyline is cool, the graphics are pretty well done, though I occasionally see twitchy textures on the moving creatures, and their ability to move through walls sometimes, but not all the time, is a little weird. When the zombie-troops get stuck walking into a wall until you shoot them, that's a little odd too. Still, I think it's worth 5/5
Not sure exactly how to play this one... I try to do the obvious strategies, upgrade and build more factories, etc. Still keep losing the very first round. Kinda kills the fun when even the first round is so hard. Cool concept overall. 3/5
Very nice, I like it. I have some suggestions: Mute button should be easier to find (rather than tucking it away on the Pause screen), or at least put it in the Instructions section here. There should be some way to move forward after you've been pushed back if you run into something. Otherwise, it is nicely done, graphics are nice, music is pretty cool. 4/5
On the level screen I noticed there are several wooden shapes with faces (circles and squares), I wonder if those were supposed to be in the levels? You could easily come up with a dozen new levels just based on using removable wooden pieces of various sizes.
I see what you did there! Combining Red Remover, Super Stacker, Civiballs, and others to make a very nice take on the puzzle game series. I like it. I agree with others that it's pretty short and maybe a little too easy, but hey, that's what sequels are for, right? ;) Still 5/5.
It's definitely different than Infectionator. Definitely needs some standard RTS features such as: Squad grouping (i.e. highlight specific troops, hit Shift-# to assign to #, then press # to select later) *or* use #'s to activate troops or spell, depending on which toolbar is visible. It would be nice to have a health bar somewhere along the GUI that shows the health of your gate, so you know when it's being attacked. Otherwise, I did have fun and can't really complain. 5/5
I'm sorry, but while the graphics did improve over BW1, the gameplay... seems to have done exactly nothing. In fact, as others have noted, it's taken a step *back* from BW1. The first level is thrilling as playing Tic-Tac-Toe. You send bugs, computer sends bugs to counter, neither side making any headway. I spent almost 10 minutes on level 1 just watching the bees go back and forth. About 8 minutes longer than I should have. Played through to level 5. Even got one upgrade (picked strength, though it didn't seem to make any difference). You usually make some great games, Rudy, but I just can't get behind this one. 2/5
Played and played and finally figured out a decent strategy for level 26 and finished the "Wimpy" levels, will play the Normal, but I'm just not blown away by it so far...
