ROFL, I just had an archer shoot me after being decapitated. I just chopped off his head and he was like "screw you, I don't need a brain to do this anymore", pulled back the string, hit me with the arrow, and fell to the ground. Made me chuckle.
Too easy, the way turrets scale seems just wrong, with the cheapest turrets having the most DPS and the most expensive turret being useless due to short range. I suggest an enemy armor system (damage redution on impact) so heavier turrets have some use at all.
Also the way you can just inmediately replace a turret when the enemy manages to destroy it practically means you are invincible. Can't have a game if you can't lose
SPOILER:
By the way, having a large merchant fleet seems to pay off for Athens, you can just move soldiers from one city to another and earn a fat profit
@Artez: Envoys appear automatically once your treasury increases by an amount of gold. Click the coin icon to see how much gold you need for the next envoy to appear. Alternatively, envoys can be obtained by converting generals. (On diplomacy screen click attack then send the general as an envoy)
@OllyShaw: Collect more fish by hiring/upgrading fishermen. "Food value" of fish can be incremented by improving the environment. If you see your stash of fish still dropping, but a lot of fish lying on the ground, it means you need more/better gather dwarves
8.75 years in Son of Zeus mode, army was always basic units ONLY (couldn't hire more advanced troops for some reason. Took like 5-6 militia to take down individual Cataprhacts lol)
Triangle boss entered some sort of loop, it ddidn't disintegrate and lasted like 20 minutes doing the same thing (one big triangle stationary pointing at me, another big triangle moving left and right taking random shots top to bottom
Definitely noted. Thanks for your review!
