"Quick Sketching" seems to be extremely inefficient (full redraw for 17 bulbs) compared to "Snack Time" (full redraw for 10 bulbs+ 20 hp) unless theres some factor im not considering.
Pro tip: if you use the ? button you can use a lens to highlight some items worthy of attention. I strongly recommend you do this when you are stuck. I ran around in circles like a total noob with the stupid viking (who doesnt even know how to knock someone out with an armadillo) mocking me all the time until I found about this and saw a little something I missed right at the beginning. (Spoiler)
That feeling when you enter the Citadel in HL2, and they supercharge the grav gun enabling it to pull!push anything... I had forgotten how liberating it was lol
Nice little game, my only problem with it is perhaps how slow animations are, should have an option to have ships moving and shooting faster.
AI could use improvement
Just had a nice fun game. My human/caanian deck vs legendary human AI. As some legendary games, it lasted well beyond we ran out of cards in the deck, the thing is, we both had a Phoenix (legendary ship that is shuffledd back into deck when destroyed)
Hello, first of all, congratulations on 50 years, I think its a finely tuned strategy game.
I noticed you recently released the game in Spanish. Translation is very good, just saw a few things missing, so if you are interested, here they are:
Eskimo => Esquimal: (Civ description->)Pueden contratar un campesino adicional por cada cabaña del forestal, pero no pueden construir graneros
Peasant => Campesino (Paisano has a more general meaning, something in the line of countryman)
Town Hall => Ayuntamiento (its spelled wrong in the game)
It would be nice if, arriving to a planet in dispute, you could choose which part of the enemy fleet you want to engage, so for example you could fight level 3 cruisers for a bigger alignment deviation (and more fun). The final enemy could be more powerful than a level 3 ship
Hello Chaflan, thanks for playing the game and for your suggestion, we're thinking of something along these lines yes... working on fixing save/load issues for everyone first, tho.
Shrewd enemies should be able to surprise you and attack from random directions. Not all enemies should have an attack pattern of 120º clockwise every single time lol
Yeah I think medicines should really be removed from the list of things banned in dark worlds. Its plain dumb, even the ban on artwork makes more sense (blasphemous idols or whatever). Anyway the list of dark-banned articles is too long already
@Mellington: I just won one with the Mongols (normal diff). Spent initila 1000 g on a knight so peasants could farm in peace, gold isnt a problem as battles give gold. I built some 3 early churches so I could grab some early faith bonuses. Late game was tough, but I managed to win with some 15 knights 12 swords and some upg knights
I just lost with 2 swordmen and 1 militia vs 2 militia + 1 swordman.
The battles in this game are too broken. You should have some way to control your units
also, sometimes they attack regions that have no strategic value, like towers i built far from my base for the purpose of capturing territory for a secondary objective
AI should be more concerned about your barracks attacking their castle. They usually plant a few towers to the sides of the path, even when the castle is falling steadily, instead of just blocking the path
Well...ok.
