Interface is cute at first, but later on it becomes a hassle trying to move back and forth between all the heroes to determine a good setup - much less an optimal one.
Having to "dig" for the information doesnt help either. The information is all there but scattered around. Making it very hard to make an on the spot decision.
Thanks for the feedback. For now, you can hold shift when you click the arrow on the bench to move all the way to either end. Additionally, you can click on the crusader on the formation and the bench will move to the crusader. This can be a quick way to move back and forth.
Have noticed a few bugs. One that seems to recur for me a good bit is upon resetting, I will still have all buildings (except the last one) and everything else, but presumably no bonus for having them. Refreshing doesnt fix it. So then I have to grind away to a very high Sp amount of money with a "party" of only 1.
"Here's this very long tutorial, please memorize everything." --Yawn. Almost closed the game from this alone. Also, games really need to be able to start muted, including the intro
Autosave every upgrade causes way too much lag. Especially in the later game where you want to buy numerous upgrades at once. One alternative to this is to have purchasing an upgrade activate a timer that saves in 5 seconds. If another upgrade is purchased within that time, the timer is reset to 5 seconds. This way, it wont save until mass upgrade purchasing is finished.
Have upgrade purchase requirements for mana + clicking be based on you all time achievements, not the current session. Clicking a crap ton of times once or twice is more than enough.
Should be able to revert to older equipment sets, since achievements are based on upgrading them. I personally chopped down the tree quickly and sold all the ore that I recieved as a reward - which put me directly into almost full gold armor. Little did I know at the time that doing so meant I can't get 7 achievements. Additionally, the 2nd to last Mine X achievements are broke (I have all Mine 50k achievements)
Any revert option to older gear would be very difficult to add, since it should have inventory of some kind. Yes, we know about these 4. mining achievements and we're fixing them. Thanks!
There does unfortunately seem to be either a memory leak or this game simply consumes too much CPU (usage, not memory). Running this alongside a VM or two, this uses more of the CPU than the VMs (This ~21% usage. i5 2500k)
Really wish Flak Cannon wasnt the 2nd auto gun. I might be playing it wrong, but because of the whole mass DPS boost from ranks, Im typically rushing for the next rank - so most of my DPS comes from gun #1 followed by #2, trails off with #3 before Im near ready to upgrade #1 again (I upgrade #4 & 5 around X76 of gun #1, so its already towards "the end" of the current rank and they have a very short time that theyre of use)
"Compensation" money based on sector clear was a bit low. I was barely able to get my ships upgraded back to where they were in terms of Hull & Drones. Much less Weapons.
Yeah. I understand. Glad that you are excited about the game. Lloyd has some interesting ideas to streamline the bench interface.
