Chadwickguy, the values are correct. When you think it says 100,000K, it's actually 100.000K. Decimal point, not a comma. (But I definitely agree that it looks incredibly awkward.)
Being the super-OCD guy I am, I made sure to acquire EXACTLY 1 million chocolate bars, no more, no less. (Why yes, my life is miserably dull, thank you for asking.)
For maximum jelly-making efficiency, only upgrade each floor to Level 11. For the first 10 levels, each level-up multiplies your Jelly output more than it multiplies the price, meaning each upgrade is quicker than the last. From Level 10 to Level 11, both Jelly output and price are multiplied by x1.1. After that, upgrades will come slower and slower, and be less rewarding each time.
Oh, and before people accuse me of being a shill, I will complain about the game myself. The wall running and jumping mechanics are terrible. As far as I can tell, it only triggers if you're pushing left or right against a wall, but it only seems to work half the time. And it seems like you can't control how long Fred runs on the wall, when he jumps, or where he lands. And that's really just one of many issues I have with the shoddy platforming, which I doubt will be made any better by grinding for upgrades.
Squidmaster, the Grim Reaper IS seen in-game. When you run into obstacles, he'll catch up. Trap Fred against a wall for 5-10 seconds, and you'll see him.
Xatax, I finished it without paying a cent. Just upgrade your lives once, and run into the barrels at the end. When you restart at the last checkpoint and return, most of the barrels will be gone, and you can reach the exit no problem.
I think it's bugged right now so it may not work, but in the future when i fix it, once it reaches 0 it will countdown from 30 during those 30 seconds the money you get per click will be worth x5.
The real fundamental problem in this game is not that the upgrades are too expensive, but that there are too few intermediate upgrades. Let us upgrade our catapults more than 6 times, and add more catapults in between the ones we have right now.
I don't understand what to do. Suggestion: Have a friend play this, but don't give him instructions. If they can't figure what to do, ask them what is unclear, then change that part to make it more clear. Repeat until solved.
You know what I like? When developers have every confidence that the player is smart enough to solve their puzzles without consulting a walkthrough. I always appreciate that.
MadenameXD, the trick is to move forward in baby steps, so that when a pirate spawns behind you, you won't have to deal with attackers from both sides. Once the pirate lets you into the house, though, you can rush ahead without any problems.
