BTD3 gave us the MOAB. BTD4 gave us the BFB. BTD5 gives us the ZOMG. I suspect that when BTD6 rolls around, we'll get an even tougher MOAB-class bloon, which itself contains several ZOMGs... and it will be tinier than a black or white bloon.
The only thing that would improve this game is if the music was context sensitive. The bounce frequency would determine the tempo, the apartness of each bounce from the last would determine the pitch, hitting specific platforms or activating certain triggers would add special flourishes.
It's a good start, but it feels like nothing ever changes in the hour or so it takes to beat the dungeon. The caves are the same, Most of your spells are the same, the enemies all look the same... it needs more variety.
Thanks for you comment! I have put most of the time on programming the mechanics and tweaking the difficulty as I am not an artist so I did not have enough time to do more visual. The map took a lot of time to produce because I had many problems and I tried my best to make it look good while it being optimized. Maybe I will make an update with more types of enemies else I will make a completely new game using the same mechanics I developed but with much more features !
Okay, in Lacste, I could understand if the button in the little green room at the end of the hallway reset when I exited the room. But it doesn't reset, it just doesn't register as pressed, until I go all the way down the hall and it enters the screen and it magically suddenly registers as pressed.
In the screen to the right of where you first fall into Rostef, when you get the strange, leafy artifact, if you pass over the button that blocks off the path, and you get killed, you're trapped and must start the entire game over. There's that tunnel with the green door, but I never came across the green key before then.
