The boss level is maddening mostly because you cannot reconfigure your points. It's difficult to know what it takes to win that level until you've already gotten there.
Wow, the game is just slowly breaking. Today, I finally made enough Ender Pearls to purchase the Eye of Ender Pickaxe. I love the new ability. Unfortunately, I only got to use it a handful of times before it all but bricked my game. On the most recent charge, it went into spin mode but did not teleport anywhere. On ending its power, I found the "special" cooldown was immediately set to 1 sec. I tried using it again. Nothing. It now stays stuck in special mode (not teleporting anywhere). Restarting the game and trying my cookie pickaxe, I had a cooldown of 1 sec again. It charged up and got stuck in a continuous special mode. I could not switch picks without restarting the game. Thankfully, a few refreshes later, everything seems to be back to normal so far, except for a persistent chest notification with no chests to open.
The Daily reward stopped working at #4. It just keeps rolling over the "will reset in..." timer without unlocking any prizes. I did successfully fill the entire card one time, but haven't gotten it to work for several days now.
I cannot figure out how auto-cast is supposed to work. It would be nice to have instructions or a label of some kind notifying the user of the status. Should I make sure the auto-cast button is white, or gray? Ditto for the hack I want to use.
There seems to be a visual bug in that several of the pickaxes, on their first (Level 2) upgrade seem to display characteristics of two additional levels instead of one and then don't change that look for the following upgrade (e.g. L1 > L2 = two bands added; L2 > L3 = still have two bands).
I feel that the game would be much better if you could set which things go off when - I can figure out what to do procedurally, but when combined with beat-the-clock tactics, my memory and clicking skills drop to near-zero. Great concept, but the difficulty level goes from zero to sixty wayyyy too fast.
In my entire time spent grinding on the moon, I came across a cheese block ONCE, and it can't be crafted. Is there something I should be doing to trigger their appearance, or is it just a one-in-a-million kind of deal and I will pretty much never complete the Eye of Gorgonzola?
The only thing I can recommend improving is the cube manipulation - once you've got a bunch of pieces on, it can get slightly difficult to keep track of how many rotations you've made. Perhaps restrict it to a single turn per drag, or change the controls to click on arrows instead? Otherwise, definitely a solid entry in the learn-as-you-play puzzle genre!
I MUST KNOW... what is with the fish? I managed to get him stuck against a wall in the first area and he disappeared entirely after kicking him off the platform in the second area. I was relieved to find I didn't need him for the environment unlocks. I was hoping for some kind of bonus for dropping him off in another pond, but both of them bugged out before I could get that far. (I also managed to clip the snail shell through the bridge and was glad to find I didn't need it to accomplish anything either)
