A little clunky still, but overall the game is very well polished. Excellent graphics and sounds, though the story/dialog is a bit cheesy. I died on the 2nd level because I wasn't really paying attention to watch my health. The first couple of levels shouldn't require too much strategy, so I passed up on continuing it.
This has potential, but just about everything is wrong with it. 1.) it takes way too many clicks to do anything, like I really want to click three times to attack and again to end the turn when there is nothing else to do 2.) with the panel moving animation, etc., it's way too slow on a fast gaming rig... speed it up!, 3.) The audio and music sounds as if it was recorded in a tin can -- really, it's horrid, 4.) "Grandpa"? is this made for rug rat kids or something? Please a hero of this caliber and age wouldn't have a grandpa. Bad, bad, bad, overall. Bad story, bad design, bad implementation. Decent graphics and nice looking UI, but bad game overall. Not worth 5 to 10 minutes to kill a few snakes and bugs. :-P
As I play even more, no music, no skill, no challenge, silly structures, and pointless ammo/rewards. I think you guys could have done something better than luck-based game with just bigger rocks as you go. :-P Lameness.
Yup, this game is a loser. Good artwork, nice concept, poor implementation. Controls are horrid, sometimes it doesn't even register my click, and no measurement for my shots or anything interesting.
Horrid! What moron at Kongregate gave this game a badge and 2500 score to get it when it's based on mere luck? No skills needed for this game, just luck of where pills spawn. And it's so freakin boring to play. LAMENESS.
Interesting and creative storyline. Innovative story to keep the traditional point-and-click adventure-puzzle game genre going. Even though short (for now), a worthwhile game that is entertaining and simple. Easy game = relaxing time, which is exactly what I want in an adventure-puzzle game vs. something like an action or strategy game.
Classic style RPG, which is great, but poor amateurish story with bad writing and really odd things like heads in portraits nodding all the time slightly to show movement. It's not something helpful though... it's just silly looking. Thank you for trying to revitalize the old overhead RPGs like Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, and the like, but this one just mimics the classics without innovating. Regardless of the little things, I would actually play and enjoy this title were it not for the awful story-line. Please, 30-something+ people like these old classic-style games, yet the story screams teenager amateurism where writing is concerned. Otherwise, it looks like a lot of effort went into it, and the atmosphere and graphics are all above par for this classic style RPG.
Good game, far superior to its sequel, Epic War 2 in terms of stability. The sequel is buggy and easier to progress than this original. For those who think this game is easy, you're just trying to show off. It's not hard, but it requires some time to run through, making it not an easy game. Good balance here, with many creative aspects.
Kongregate: remove this extremist political propaganda. Everyone with at least half a brain knows PETA is comprised of a bunch of stoned, hallucinating emo kids who do nothing but sit around all day thinking of ways to hate the world and everyone who isn't as psycho as they are.

Addictive game, especially with 50 levels. Easy when you can get into a rhythm of it, but dynamic enough so that a feeling of cheating on one level would spell failure on another. Yet, it does get a little repetitive. I stopped at 30 and went to level select to check how many total (I didn't look the first time). If things changed a bit more each level, I might be tempted to play through all 50. Otherwise excellent pick, 4/5.
Very clever and interesting episode of the warbears. I didn't like the original much, but this one was fun. Also, nice little interactive cut-scene ending too. All in all, great job with the sprites and pixel-perfect graphics. 4/5 for sure.
Haha, the author of this game then proceeds to leave me a shout with words like "fag", etc. I will say it again, your game is a loser. Get used to harsh comments about your work when it's sub-par. So what? Big deal? Practice more and release something better next time. And if you can't take the comment heat, then don't publish your game on places where it will take the heat.
Btw, Denninja, "motion blur" takes no skill or professionalism to make in Adobe Flash CS3/4, since all the developers are doing is adding a more drastic "onion skin" effect to their sprite movies. It's a 5 second task. Yes, lots of polished fluff in this game, along with their other games, but seriously lacking in substance, content, and overall gameplay.
